    @MrsTal: That sounds beautiful!! Post some nursery pics when you are done. I love looking at nursery pics!!

    9 weeks tomorrow. Just want to fast-forward the next few weeks. So, so nervous still that something could go wrong.

    @Happygal: Hey me too...the first medicated cycle after our laprascopy We tried 3 non-medicated cycles before I made an apt with an RE.

    @MrsTal: That's so exciting You're almost there, and that decal is so gorgeous, I can't wait to see pictures!

    @mrswin: Sending you all of the extra patience that I can muster for you.

    @Jenn23: I'm sorry about your lo Hang in there, you're almost to the 12 week mark!

    My first beta was a 75, for what the RE's office considered a 3w5d, and I go back in tomorrow for round 2. My progesterone level was a 14.13, and they said they like to see a 20, so I'm joining the suppository club. I am shocked how tired I already am. I was definitely tired/achey the week leading up to my missed period, but that is normal for me. Maybe, I'll feel a little better once I calm down and actually sleep at night I'm trying so hard to not let the need to supplement progesterone scare me. My mom had multiple miscarriages, and I'm just telling myself to be thankful that in today's world they test for progesterone and can supplement it.

    @owlteach: Congrats! Don't let that scare you, mine actually dropped from 21 to 17 between beta #1-#2 all is just fine!

    @MrsTal: amazing! I'd love to see your finished nursery when its all up!

    @Jenn23: Yay for 9 weeks! just a week and a few days behind you.

    I heard and saw my LO's heartbeat today! I was so happy, I shed a tear. We immediately saw the heart beat before my RE flipped the switch for us to hear him/her. I'm genuinely excited and a little less worried now. RE wants me to continue on the suppositories until 12 weeks. She said that everything looks good & that I probably won't show until I'm 4-5 months. She said all the hormones are possibly causing all the bloating. I'll have my first "prenatal" appt to go over everything on 10/01.

    @lazypanda: Such an awesome update I think that is when I will genuinely be able to let go some of this anxiousness!

    I had really bad cramps last night, in the middle of the night. They woke me up and I had to take a bath. However, there was and has been absolutely no bleeding, and I took a digital this morning that said I was 2-3 weeks past ovulation. I was handling the minor cramping pretty well, but those last night did scare me!

    @FaithFertility: @mrswin: @marionberry: @owlteach: thanks ladies! I plan on telling my immediate family now that we've seen the heartbeat & it's feeling more real.

    @owlteach: no bleeding is always a good sign. Also, try not to worry too much about the reasons for the suppositories, the RE nurses said it was standard practice for the REs to prescribe it for all the women they are treating. How was beta #2?

  11. owlteach

    @lazypanda: I went from a 75 to 221 in 40 hours, so I felt super good about it!

    @lazypanda: yay that's so exciting!!!

    @owlteach: Try not to worry about the cramping, it's just stretching. It's hard not to tho, I had terrible cramps that first weekend after my bfp , so bad that I thought I must be miscarrying.

    @owlteach: I agree with the other ladies, sounds like things stretching, I found it pretty painful at times.

    Can I vent for a minute ladies? My RE transferred my care to an OB a couple of weeks ago. When I got in touch with the OB's office they told me that they wanted me to go for my NT scan before seeing the OB for the first time. Well the scheduled the NT for this morning (10w 6d) because the office said between 11 and 14 weeks would be fine. Well I get there today and the ultrasound tech is annoyed that I am there too early and wants to know why I am there. I explained that this was the appointment I was given. She says that she is not doing the NT because I am not far enough along. She took some images, a couple measurements and then told me to re-schedule. She showed us the baby quickly but didn't say anything about the heart rate, etc.

    I have a call into the OB's office but I am so annoyed... now I have to take more time off next week to go back and do it again....and I'm not sure if my SO will be able to get the time off.....

    pomelo / 5041 posts

    @mrswin: I'm sorry! That sucks. I find OB offices to be much less put together than their RE counterparts. I always understood the NT scan to occur during the 12th week so it does seem early. I hope your husband is able to make your next visit. I would certainly complain to your OB office too. Not sure why they won't see you until after the scan.

  17. Jenn23

    persimmon / 1085 posts

    @mrswin: That is awful! Why would they schedule it too early? Sorry about that. Mine was right around 12 weeks the last time and will be again this time. Sorry it got all screwed up and I hope both you and your husband can go next week! I agree that is odd that your OB wants you to do that test first before coming in. I will be going to my OB next week, then doing the NT at 12 weeks. Sorry about that. @owlteach: I've had some bad cramps at times too. They can and do happen with some pregnancies and are totally normal!!!

    @lazypanda: That's great news!!

  18. owlteach

    apricot / 390 posts

    @mrswin: I hate it when people dont have their acts together, and then pretend like its no big deal to reschedule!

    @Jenn23: @mrswin: @MrsTal: @FaithFertility: thank you all so much. Your reassurance was just what I needed....knowing I wasnt the first woman on earth to experience that, and that all of your pregnancies have continued to be health is such a relief. Thank you all!

  19. mrswin

    nectarine / 2433 posts

    @marionberry: Disorganized is right!

    @Jenn23: When I talked to the nurse just now she said well it's close enough to 11 weeks that it shouldn't be a problem!

    @owlteach: Exactly and now I have to take more time off from work, I haven't told them yet so I have to make an excuse every time...

    So the nurse was not apologetic at all, she just said well then you can just go back next week! As for why the doctor wants to see me after the NT. She said it is because I have been with an RE up to this point so they do your initial intake over the phone and then the first time you meet the OB it is to discuss the results. Oh and the nurse also said that this Dr. is only in the office on Tuesday's because the rest of the week he is on rotation at the hospital where I will deliver. This is what happens when health care is "free" lol.

    @mrswin: ughhh that is super frustrating.......I am sorry and I do agree seems RE offices are much more put together than OB, but I am happy to have graduated!

    @lazypanda: Awww so happy for you!

    @owlteach: Great Beta!Yes I agree its probably just stretching. Plus if you are on progesterone suppositories I feel like those make me super crampy too.

    @mrswin: Yeah, that is SO annoying. I'm sorry I would be so frustrated too. Sorry your "graduation" from the RE hasn't been the best.

    @owlteach: that's awesome! When is your 3rd beta?

    @MrsTal: @Mrs.Pinecone316: @Jenn23: thank you ladies! I'm hoping that I may be comfortable enough to join the due date threads.

    @mrswin: I'm so sorry about the rough start with the new practice. I'm hoping that it'll get better & the new OB will be amazingly helpful all the way through delivery!

  24. owlteach

    apricot / 390 posts

    @lazypanda: they didnt schedule a 3rd beta. I did email the nurse to see if we could schedule a few more betas between now and when my ultrasound is scheduled at 10/10...scheduling and travel time to the re means that it will be on 7w, instead of 6.

    9w4d ultrasound this morning and baby looks good!! HB of 154 and size is right on track. So I graduated from the RE and go see my OB next week. Yay!!!!!! Could see the littlest little arm buds today which was really cool.

    @lazypanda: Hooray for a H&H little one! Wishing you the best of months ahead!

    @owlteach: I've heard a lot of Bees say that 7 weeks is better/preferred, since at that point you can see more! Hope the wait goes quickly for you!

    @Jenn23: Yay! I'm so glad your LO is thriving (with adorable arm buds, to boot)!

    @Jenn23: happy graduation that's so exciting!

    We found out last night that we are having a little boy! We are excited and slightly terrified, probably because we spent the weekend with our nephews and they were little hellions lol.
