Has anyone had this?
I'm going to the dentist tomorrow, and have a big bump on my gums that bleeds very easily, but is squishy just like gum tissue. Everything I see says it's harmless but will need to be removed.
Experience?

@Mrs. Oatmeal: is it very close to the teeth? My gums are crazy sensitive when pregnant. They bleed often...last pregnancy I had something similar but it was right along the tooth/gum line and I was able to get rid of it flossing and using the electric toothbrush, but it bled like crazy!
Ugh good luck. Sorry to hear you're dealing with this!

I had something like that too! I don't think it's a bump though, but the area is super sensitive and just a touch from the floss would make it bleed like crazy. I hate dealing with the bleeding so I floss that part while I'm in the shower.

@Mrs. Oatmeal: my bestie had this in the third tri- she got it removed, and then it grew back very quickly (within 2 weeks) and she had to get it removed again shortly before she delivered. Since she gave birth, it has been totally gone. Pregnancy is so weird!

Yes, it's right on my gumline and bleeds like mad! My whole mouth just aches when I brush and floss- it's ridiculous. Pregnancy is crazy.

Mine wasn't a full blown tumor, but one area of my mouth and gums got super inflamed, red, and would bleed before my BFPs with ds1 and my mc. This pregnancy, it randomly happened in the third tri.
