Pregnant moms what are you doing for workouts?
I'm just running right now - nothing crazy about 30 minute jogs 5 days a week.

Absolutely not... I am waayyy too tired right now. I know it will help me not be so tired but I can't even!

right now, nothing heavier than walking. but since i am no longer ill all the time, i am going to go back to spinning 2x a week, and add in some prenatal yoga.

Not at the moment, I was doing the elliptical for 30 minutes 6 days a week but got too tired. I'm trying to find the motivation to start again but I just want to nap.

Until about two weeks ago I was doing spinning once or twice a week, walking on the treadmill, doing the elliptical or stair master once or twice a week and going to a weights class. Now that I've gotten pretty big (almost 32 weeks) the biking has gotten super awkward! So I am doing less these days, just elliptical or treadmill a few times a week and some yoga.

I'm much more active this pregnancy than my last one and I feel really good. I do prenatal yoga once a week, 40-60 minute walks 3-5x/week and a ballet-type class once a week. I have also gained much less weight - about 7lbs less than at the same point with my first.

@lioneyes: @CakeLady: for spinning do you wear a monitor? Or just go by how you feel?
pomelo / 5228 posts
Yep! I spend 40mins with a book on the elliptical 3x/week. Though I do take a day off if I'm not feeling well enough (more than I would've pre-preg). This week I've been getting over being sick, so I haven't gone.

Still working out 4 days per week but mostly the elliptical or bike plus weights. I'm actually working out more now than I was before I got pregnant this time! Haha.

@winniebee: I wore a monitor before I was pregnant, so I wear it now too - but to make sure I am keeping my HR low enough. However, I usually will start to feel a little lightheaded at the same time my heart rate gets toward the high end, so I could probably do without.

@MrsF: @Weagle: I have a toddler as well and maybe will not want to work out as I get bigger. We go together with the jogging stroller!
But yes chasing after a toddler is a work out!

@Weagle: Yes! Chasing and lifting a toddler everyday is my exercise for now.

@winniebee: I'm impressed! Although honestly it's the horrible moring sickness and exhaustion more than the toddler that are getting to me. Looking forward to second tri!

My work out is packing my 25lb 10 month old around and crawling around after him.

@winniebee no, i'm going to go by how i feel, sit by a fan, and take it easy on the jumps.

I'm so impressed with all you ladies who work out while pregnant!
I'm with the ladies who get their exercise chasing after a toddler
