I'm in charge of crafts for DD's Halloween class party and I'm looking for ideas! Needs to be easy and quick...the kids gets about ten minutes to do it. I thought this bat/spider headband is cute and decorating pumpkins is always fun too. Which do you think is better for the kids? Open to other suggestions too!

I think a group of preschoolers would have the most "success" with the spider headband. Plus it would make a super cute class photo!

Thanks ladies! If we do the headband I plan to pre-cut everything and the kids can just fold and glue!

@dolphin: you can probably have them fold the "legs" and glue on the eyes and then you staple the legs to the headband and staple it together.

I'm terrible at crafts, but I do have one piece of input on the googly eye pumpkins if you decide to go that route, because my son and I tried them on a plastic pumpkin a week or so ago: Use something other than glue to attach them if you're having the children do it! It took forever to get the glue to dry and they kept running down the sides of the pumpkin even when we propped it up. We ended up doing one at a time and waiting for it to dry.

@honeybear: ooh thanks for the tip!! I wouldn't have thought of that! I'm not very crafty either.
