@LCTBQE: do you mean this one? If so, I used it for a couple years and really liked it. I only switched to the serum after I was given a sample and decided to try something new.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: Cool, I'm debating getting this vs getting a State backpack and the State insert. Someone gave me an awesome, not-bulky changing pad, so maybe I'll get yours and just toss the one it comes with. glad to hear you like it! and always glad to hear what kind of bottles/etc someone else got
@SweetiePie: oooh, no kidding on the essie gel? and am 31w and just got the simple wishes bra and am about to get the bravado bra, too. totally agree on the jeans, the one exception being I hate my full-panel $190 paige maternity jeans. j brand are so awesome, I can't wait to get back into my regular pairs. Jo Malone orange blossom or fig & cassis in every product they make=heaven. oh, and Molton Brown hand wash is so damn expensive and sooooo lovely. great hostess gift. my amazon order is going to be obscene this week

@LCTBQE: which backpack are you talking about? I've decided a backpack would be much better than the tote style diaper bag I got.

@yoursilverlining: I actually just finished a few years of Chanel foundation. My skin started acting up last month though.
@travellingbee: Maybe I'll try that.
@Canoli: I used to use that way back when! It was great for ,e awhile.
@LCTBQE: That stick sound interesting. Serum is too pricy for me.
Bees, I'm getting an Instant Pot! It looks like a Crock Pot. Our rice pot is getting old so I think it's time for a change!

the organizer does NOT come with a changing pad though! they're expensive but they have a really nice mission like tom's or warby parker where they donate a backpack to needy kids for each one purchased

@Caly: yep, I think that's the one--I'm going to try it! good to know you liked it. the liquids are a little too much for me.

@youboots: I love that scrub!
Hmm, beauty-wise I would also add the YSL glossy stains. They are expensive for a lip color but I just love them! And then I also love my ninja coffee maker. We got it using a gift card, though, I don't know if I would have paid out of my own pocket. But it's pretty awesome.

Oh I thought of another. Our Dyson floor fan. We got it with BBB gift cards from our wedding. I love it so much. And now that my son is into everything I love the safety of the blade less design. He loves sticking his face in it.
@LCTBQE: I get the Jo Malone Lime Basil & Mandarin for home stuff. My husband said the first time he smelled it "I feel like I just walked into a fancy hotel in London"
For myself I love the Nectarine & Honey Blossom!

@MrsSCB: we have the Ninja and we love love love it. We had a $20 off coupon but I think it is worth every bit of its expensive self!
@oskarsmommy: I'm definitely going to try the deodorant!
Ladies this thread is not good for a lady on maternity leave that has already done too much online shopping!

@LCTBQE: that backpack looks great, I like all the organizer pockets!

I thought of another one, the Swell water bottle!! I bought one for DD's 7th bday but ever since baby was born I use it all the time. It keeps water icy cold for 24 hours, no joke. I love cold water so it's been perfect to have by my side while nursing. I'm even considering getting the bigger size too!

@catlady: yes to Birkenstocks! I have been wearing mine every day of this maternity leave. Sturdy enough to flip the stroller brake, comfortable enough for long walks, and cute.

As I'm going through my day I remember things.
Supergoop City Sunscreen Serum. I just use it as my face moisturizer for summer days.
Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen. Smells amazing, goes on like a moisturizing lotion. So I don't mind putting it on for the day and feeling like I MUST take a shower after. It really just feels like I'm moisturizing. They have an after sun lotion I'd like to try.
Brazilian Keratin Treatments!

I must be fairly hype-resistant...or I live under a rock.
Only things I can think of are my Aveda Lip Saver ($8 lip balm & worth every cent for my frequently chapped lips) and my Cuisinart food processor (LIFE changing!).

@Charm54: I was thinking about a Keekaroo for this baby. Is it worth $100 if this is our last baby?
cantaloupe / 6885 posts
@Smurfette: yes yes yes. Worth every penny. I used it multiple times a day for 2 years with dd1 , almost a year with dd2 and its still in like new condition so you could probably sell it for decent $ after you're done with it. It's so much better than dealing with icky changing covers
pear / 1703 posts
@Smurfette: for the amount of diapers that get changed per day, it's definitely worth it!
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
@Charm54: @Autumnmama79: Valid points on resale and amount of diapers. I forget how many diapers it is the first year. Where did you get yours? Do they ever go on sale?
cantaloupe / 6885 posts
@Smurfette: I got mine at a local baby store in Maine when I was there on vacation. They're quite a bit pricier in Canada so any US price is a sale for me haha

In regards to the Keekaroo, Target makes wipeable changing pad covers and they're awesome
honeydew / 7463 posts
@Anya: any! It's just a really glossy, strong, long wearing top coat! Same idea as seche vite but better in my opinion.
ETA: it has some of the benefits of gel without the negatives. Like no UV lamp to set it, don't have to soak off.
nectarine / 2784 posts
@SweetiePie: very cool, I'll pick one up next time my seche vite runs out!
pear / 1718 posts
@SweetiePie: if this is truly better than Seche Vite... I'm almost out of topcoat, and I love Essie color, so I bet I'll love it!
grapefruit / 4903 posts
@Smurfette: I have a Soft Gear one that is functionally the same and a third of the price. We were happy enough with it that we bought a second one for the second floor when we had DD2.
nectarine / 2461 posts
@SweetiePie: oooh forgot about the Lime Basil scent. I don't usually spend that much on beauty stuff but I'm a sucker for expensive home products I also put your Hawaiian Tropic lotion in my amazon basket!
While we're at it, does anyone have a small, discreet, not-glowing-crazy-colors nursery humidifier that they love?
eggplant / 11824 posts
@ladybee: @SweetiePie: YES!!! Essie gel setter is the shit, for real.

@Anya: @SweetCaroline: it's only $9 or $10 at Target which is awesome too!

Fresh sugar Chapstick... It's like $23 but oh, how I love it. The best.
Seche Vite
Benefit they're real mascara

@SweetiePie: @yoursilverlining: I will have to try it!! I have an Essie obsession but have never tried that! I'm a seche Vite addict.
