Do any of you girls pump while driving? If so, how do you do so discreetly?

I did it a few times. I wasn't very worried about being discreet. I think I just pulled my shirt up above the flanges and used a hands free pumping bra.

@agold: No, I just left it resting on top. I was counting on all the other commuters to be looking at the road and for the steering wheel and door to give me some coverage.

When I EPed w DS, I would pump on long drives. I would just hook up my normal pump in style and use a nursing shield/cover. It def looked weird but I didn't care bc #multitasking

@ChitownRo: I didn't think about the nursing cover! Thank you for that idea!
@gotkimchi: what are freemies and how do they work?

@agold: they're these cups you just put in your bra so no one can see anything! It's awesome keeping your clothes on and pumping lol

I do sometimes, I pull up the bottom of my shirt and then it kind of rests around the flanged so my nipple is hidden. I'm pretty sure you can still see but I doubt many people are looking!

It's super easy with freemies. I've done it with regular flanges before and just used a cover. It's not as easy though.

I did it once and I didn't like it. I felt distracted and uncomfortable and it was hard to get set up and then when I was done and uncomfortable it was difficult to get detached. Plenty of women seem to do it without a problem though. I used a regular nursing cover and I don't think anyone could see anything.

I used a nursing cover. Both my morning and evening commutes were in the dark, so that helped too

My sister does it all the time...she just pulls her shirt up and then drapes it over the bottles as much as possible...
Said she rarely gets observers...

I pump in the car everyday. I use a hands free pumping bra and a cardigan. I don't put the cardigan on, I just kind of tuck it into the top of the nursing bra and let it cover the flanges and bottles. I have used a nursing cover, but didn't like having something around my neck. I feel more covered using my cardigan tuck method and I've gone through Drive thrus while pumping and not gotten any comments or strange looks (that I've noticed

I do it frequently. Most of the time I just don't care. If I'm feeling particularly modest, I'll use a nursing cover.

I did it every day for 3 months because I had a long commute. I drive in the country though and wasn't too worried about people seeing me. I usually wore nursing shirts anyways. I had a hands free bra and a car adapter for my Medela swing. I'd stop at a park or golf course when I needed to switch sides.

I was almost hoping that I would get pulled over while I was pumping. "Yes, Officer?"
You can't come back from seeing a woman pumping.

I did it a few times with my first. Hands free set up, set it all when I got in the car, covered myself with a large light scarf. Turned off pump when I was done and just left it all hooked up til I parked the car when I got home!

Pumped during my drive for months. Never used a cover and I drive on a major expressway in Chicago. I don't recall any gawkers

This is my plan! I'm a home care visit nurse so the only time I will have during the day to pump is driving between my visits.
I'm planning to pump while I drive using the hands-free bra.
I will likely get a nursing cover like this again: https://www.amazon.com/Udder-Covers-Breast-Feeding-Nursing/dp/B0082Q6ATY/ref=sr_1_5_s_it?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1479527534&sr=1-5&keywords=nursing%2Bcover&th=1

@Mrs D: @peaches1038: @meganmp: you girls all made me laugh!
@Mrs. Pen: what bra do you like for pumping?

@agold: I don't pump while driving but I love this Rumina hands-free pumping bra because I can wear it all day under my work clothes:

I have... I just use my hands free bra and put on a nursing cover. I don't really care at all; gotta do what you gotta do!
