They do need to be put together, right? The current one we have was put together by the delivery guys...does PB do that too? If not, was it easy or difficult? I might have to do it myself, and I have put together a lot of furniture in my lifetime (and rather enjoy it) but never anything as big as a crib.

@SweetiePie: Haha no worries! I do have to say though, I had a 3 month-long delivery saga with them... It wasn't the crib but a changing table-- they sold one online that didn't exist and it literally took them that long to figure it out (they have multiple changing tables that they give the same name to, which is stupid and confusing for their delivery people, apparently-- they kept trying to deliver a "Madison dresser and topper" rather than "Madison changing table"....) I love what we have-- it's all been perfect for 13 months now and survived a move without a hitch, but just fair warning that I had a horrible experience!

@nana87: ugh thank you! And I need something quick (4-5 weeks) so maybe that's not the way to go. I just saw one of their cribs on sale so made me wonder. But for my purposes maybe target or Walmart and assembling myself is better.

I'm not sure about PBK, but we bought a crib from Land of Nod (a Crate & Barrel company), and they did not assemble the crib. I think it's a liability issue for them. Anyway, it was super easy to do ourselves.

I got a PB crib used from a friend. My mom and I put it together while I was 8 months pregnant, so pretty easy!

@SweetiePie: I believe you have to pay for both delivery and assembly- which is pretty pricey. I liked their cribs but they are expensive and then adding the required delivery and assembly fee was a lot. Our PB bed was delivered and assembled no problem though- very quick and efficient.
We picked up our (non pbk) crib from the store ourselves and DH assembled it by himself, no problem. Just needed help from his brother carrying up the stairs.

@SweetiePie: my mom bought us our PB crib and I don't believe she paid extra, they brought it in and had it completely assembled in just a few minutes! Came pretty quickly too.

@SweetiePie: just saw your last comment. They are definitely pricey! If it wasn't a gift I probably would've gotten a crib at IKEA. I do think it's a super sturdy quality crib though and I'm sure I t will last us for a very long time.

@Mrs. Deer: I agree on quality, thats why when I saw the one on sale I thought "hmmmm". But this will only be used on the weekends for a few months - so its not our every day, permanent solution. I should probably just get something cheap but the sale was so tempting

We put our PB crib together in less than 15 minutes. Super easy!

@SweetiePie: if you are looking for inexpensive and quick, we ordered our crib off Wayfair.com. They have tons of cribs, free shipping, and it arrived really quickly. DH put it together by himself while I was at work and said it wasn't complicated.

We got ours from PB kids, but ours was not assembled. It's pretty easy to put together.

We bought a pbk crib and had to assemble it ourselves. It was super easy though, I'm confident you could do it yourselves!
