When you put your baby down for a nap, do you base it off of sleepy cues (yawning, eye rubbing, etc). or total awake time? Example: Usually my daughter is awake around 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes between naps. I think this is appropriate, but then again, her naps suck, so who knows. I am trying an experiment today. When she did her first yawn, I took her upstairs, swaddled her, white noise, etc. and put her down for a nap. However; it had only been 30 minutes since she last woke. So...which to go by? It still took a long time to get her to fall asleep. She's 12 weeks old. Thanks!
