So my baby is just two months now and just received a baby gift from my father in law's first cousin and wife. My in laws are very close with them. They have a boy that will be a year in April/March. The gift was obviously stuff they received for their son and didn't want. There's a Carters three piece set missing the onesie! They threw in just the best and pants, no tags too. The other items don't match my son's size/season. Ie. Long sleeve body suits for summer and Eagles outfit for now!? It's too cold for him wear now not to mention football season is over. I know I'm supposed to be grateful for anything but I'm purturbed because they did this for our first born, daughter too and their girl was 5 at the time! Anybody else go through this/have this happen to you? I think regifting is fine on certain items like wine or if the clothes fit/were useful. Think I should just donate or sell the items?
