(I wasn't sure what board to put this under? Teeth or gear or health...)
Do you use a battery powered toothbrush for your child? Can you recommend one? He's asked for a "buzzing" toothbrush like mommy and daddy for his 3rd birthday, and we're wondering which one to get. I'd like to keep it under $40 if possible- save the $$$$ Sonicare ones for when he's older! (And no characters either- plain would be great)

We just got a cheap one from Target. I think it was $7-8? They didn't have plain but they had one that looked like a Crayola crayon.

@KT326: That's cool! Does it work well? How has your LO liked it? I'm worried even though he's asked for it, he'll freak out to have it vibrating in his mouth!

@MoonMoon: It works really well! The crayola one was the first one we ever got him. We've been using a spin brush with him since he was about 18 months old (it was the only way to get a toothbrush near his mouth). It might take some getting use to but mine loves it. Now he is 4 and we've been through quite a few, I change them every 6 months since they are pretty inexpensive.

We also have the cheapo target crayon one. Serious game changer in the quality tooth brushing department!

@sarah.clarisse: that's good to know! I'm thinking we'll start with that, and maybe graduate to the sonicare when he's a bit older.
