I have 2 pairs but I don't love the fit. they're both motherhood, but one pair feels kind of short and the other has such a low, light colored panel it looks like my belly (or uh, below that) is hanging out if my shirt moves!
I will be wearing jeans daily from Sept-end of Jan, when I'm due, so they'll get a good amount of use.
That said, I really cannot afford Pea in the Pod, etc. I think my husband paid $30ish for each of those pairs.
Any thoughts?

I really loved Gap's maternity jeans. They held up really well and I'm still wearing them 6 months PP. While they can be a bit expensive, you can get them affordably if you buy during a 40% off sale. I think I spent around $40 for mine.

Gap, but only because I wear the Long and Lean while not pregnant, and they had them in maternity version.

Do you have Thyme Maternity there? Not sure if it's Canadian- I got my pairs on sale for $15-20, and LOVED them. Gap and H&M aren't bad either.

I really like the Gap L&L. I also had surprisingly good luck with the ON Rock Star skinny jeans (which I think I got for $12 with a coupon).

My favorite were from Motherhood Maternity. They were super stretchy and comfy and I wore them like crazy and they still look great. You said you weren't a fan of them, so mind if I ask which ones you bought and how tall are you? I tried on some Gap and Liz Lange jeans but they fit funny near my crotch so I know everyone is different!

I am not a fan of old navy jeans, but I loved my ON maternity jeans. Sure it depends on your body type, but you may want to try them. They are cheap.

I have 3 pairs from Motherhood and they all fit differently. All are full panel and it's either blue or black, not nude, so even if my shirt rides up the panel isn't noticeable. One pair has kind of a droopy crotch but the others stay up well and this is the 2nd pregnancy I have worn them for...you might try on a few more pairs if that's the most convenient store for you. I think mine are all Indigo Blue brand...or something with Indigo in the name...

I got some from BRU's website, they were really cheap but I can't seem to find any jeans at all there now!
I got a pair from H&M, and a few pairs from Motherhood Maternity.. they have a ton of $30 pairs! -- which are buy one get one free right now!!

I really liked Gap's legging jeans, and I say that as someone who had Paige, AG, and J Brand too. The Gap was my favorite! People often thought I was wearing my pre-preg jeans because they fit my legs so well.

I love the pair I had from H&M! Comfy, cute, and cheap! I actually had a lot of women comment on how great it was that I didn't have to wear maternity jeans yet, until I told them that what I was wearing WAS maternity.

Thrift and consignment stores! I just got two gap pairs for $3 a piece. Also look on eBay.

I got my first pair from Motherhood yesterday and I love them. I always buy my jeans in long and were happy they had them. They were $40, full blue panel.

i got a pair of Maternal America skinny jeans off of Gilt Groupe for like $34 or something, which is a pretty big discount from what they normal sell for. gilt groupe actually has a pretty big selection of discounted maternity clothes.

My Old Navy jeans with the stretchy side panels are my favorite. They are under belly with a real button, but elastic panels on the hips. $30 and I've worn them throughout my pregnancy and am at 33 weeks now.

Not sure if you have a Ross or Marshall's by you but that's where I got most of my maternity clothes. The jeans were only $10 each and I loved the fit of them. I had a couple pairs from motherhood as well but didn't like them as much.

I loved my maternity jeans from LOFT. They fit me way better than anything else I tried.
