Anyone watching? I've already teared up twice in the first 5 minutes, but I think I'll probably love it.

Wah, I wanted to watch it but I lost the TV battle at 9pm. I think we recorded it, though. I really want to watch that show!

I just watched it last night. It is an amazing show! My DH even watched it and laughed with me. I can't wait to see the next episode tonight.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: It's about kids in a hospital...cancer, eating disorders, etc.
@misstatas: I didn't know it was a book! I thought it was a spin-off of The Fault in our Stars.

I watched it and liked it pretty well. I was a little distracted by the unrealistically fancy and huge hospital rooms. I also got a little irritated with the coma storyline. My DH was in a coma and I was sitting there wondering why the kid wasn't hooked up to any monitors. Also, if those nurses don't turn him he's going to get a huge pressure sore, lol! I get tired of the coma trope because that's just not accurate.

@macintosh: Yeah all of the kids were pretty "wireless." That's a rarity.

@Mrs Green Grass: the book is called Yellow World. I am pretty sure it is a nonnfictuin story written by one of the kids, but I must admit I only glances at the back quickly since I plan to purchase the ebook.

@macintosh: haha, yes! This is my pet peeve in any show (I'm a critical care nurse). I'll give them some leeway but they are (almost always) sooo inaccurate. And then people have a loved one in the hospital and really don't grasp the seriousness and reality of someone being in a "coma".
Anyway, sorry to thread jack. I did get intrigued by the commercials for this show... Maybe I'll look it up on demand!

@Mrs Green Grass: come to think of it I think I may have seen clip. dark humor?
