What about new crib bedding?

Same situation here, same sex, different season. Luckily I have been able to use a lot of the same clothes and only bought a few summer rompers because I wanted them. I was given a few fleece sleep and plays in size 0-3 which was also nice (December baby).

Things that we bought or were given for our second:
New monitor (could have added a camera but we didn't like ours anyway so mil got us a whole new one with two cameras)
A&A blankets- dd1 was very attached to hers and I didn't want to take them from her plus I wanted the new baby to have something new
More burp cloths- a lot of them got really gross
Second seat for our stroller (ub vista)
New consumables like diaper cream, saline spray for nose, infant Tylenol,
New hooded towel (dd1 still uses hers)

Most of these weren't total necessities but it was nice to have some new things for her.

We had the exact same situation a year ago (cept they're boys). We were NOT able to reuse clothes until just now (he's a year and in 24m clothes), so we needed clothes, although we didn't know that until after he was born.

We registered for a second monitor, a double stroller, a new (convertible) carseat, a baby seat (we hated DS1's bumbo), and a bunch of little stuff.

Was there anything that you didn't like with DD1? You could replace it with something else?

I created a private registry mainly to keep track of a few things I wanted to buy or if someone asks: cover from covered goods, new bathtub (prior one got nasty), solly wrap (some kind of carrier will be necessary w two kids), lillebaby carrier, boon lawn (prior bottle dryer is gross), and a few fun things, like a teether necklace for me to wear, a new toy or two for the baby. I had a hard time since we are team green, but figured it was ok spoiling this baby too! I know that we both went through a lot to get here.

I liked the babylist site for registry as I could add from anywhere. Other things:

Zutano booties for winter
Hanna Anderson has a few cute hats and warm socks
New wet bag and diaper pail liner from planet wise
New cloth wipes for diapering
New washcloths for baby

I have the same thing but I had my winter baby first and my summer baby second.

-A seasonally appropriate blanket (DS 1 has fleece I had to buy muslin for DS 2- you might have the opposite problem)
-Same thing with swaddles/sleep sacks for the first 6-9 months.
-New bibs (I realized when my mom gave me a new one that the old ones were pretty gross and stained)
-Winter clothes/hats/socks
-new wet bag and some new covers
-baby bath wash for sensitive/dry skin (at this point we are just using whatever for our toddler but winter babies tend to need more moisture)
-baby toothbrush

This has been on my mind too as i've been unpacking baby stuff from our move but we dont know the sex of our baby on the way.

regardless somethings that are on my list are:
- Swaddles
- Bottles and pumping gear
- pacifiers/wubanub
- bedding/nursery decor/dresser
- crib mattress
- better high chair
- possibly a double or sit and stand stroller
- new sound machine (after 2 years of daily use it died)
- some sentimental items that are similar to what DD had - paper trunk to store baby first items, growth chart, lovey, frame for newborn photo, baby book, etc
- prince lion heart chair (we borrowed first go around)
- baby toiletries/towels/wash clothes
- first aid supplies - thermometer, clippers, etc
