Do you replace your LO's toothbrush after they are sick? Or just sanitize it?
LO has a nasty bug and I'm curious what others do!

It's important to replace, esp after something like strep. You should replace 48 hours after starting antibiotics otherwise you can reinfect

Huh. This never would have occurred to me. Obviously I do nothing, now feeling like a bad parent, especially since one kid just finished antibiotics for strep and the other is halfway through.

My kids had strep at different times this past year and saw different doctors in the same practice. One told me to replace the toothbrush, the other didn't mention it.

Kids get sick all the time - where would you draw the line? I feel like I'd have to own stock in a toothbrush company!
