Sorry, wasn't sure where to post this.
Has anyone tried the old wives tale with your ring or a needle and thread or piece of your hair and dangle it over your left Palm to predict how many children you'll have and their gender??
No matter how many times I do it, I get the same prediction. Also a friend of mine has been doing it to people she knows for 20 years and it's only ever been wrong twice out of many many many ppl she's done it on.
Just a bit of fun anyway. If u try it tell me what u get and whether its true for u.

@Emilia80: no, it was that it would swing with my arm for one gender, and perpendicular for the other. It would stop and start again for each baby.

So far mine was wrong. It predicted I will have one girl. I am having my first and it's a boy.

My mom did this for me when I was a teen. It said I would have 3 kids. I highly doubt that will happen considering my DH and I have to deal with infertility. It took 4 years to get pregnant with 1 baby.

Wrong for me. It consistantly said 2 boys, and I was sure my first was abou while I was pregnant and team green. Nope- she's a girl! And yeah it was the same circle for one, back and forth for the other.

@Leialou: I'm sorry about your struggles BUT u never know, anything is possible. Sometimes those who battle infertility end up falling preg easily without trying. This could happen to you for ur third child. Don't give up.

My mom has been known for doing this with friends and coworkers for 22 years now and has only been wrong once....me!! It said I was having 2 boys and then a girl. So imagine her shock when out came DD! We'll see if the needle just swings the opposite way for me if we have a second girl in July!

A coworker had been doing this for years and it was always right - even for people who adopted. But she told me I was having one boy and two girls and I ended up with three boys, so it was wrong. Fun to try though.

mine said boy,boy, girl......and so far I have 2 boys! Now to see if DH is on board for a third baby!! But that will be a bit LO2 is only 6 weeks old.

I love hearing success predictions, it's fun to try regardless. I wonder why it gets some ppl ( very rare) wrong. My friend has been doing it for 20years and only ever got 2 ppl wrong. Don't forget to count miscarriages and abortions.
Mine says twins so we shall see, exciting though. Have been told by a psychic I'll have twins too and my partner is a twin. Mum also thinks she had twins but miscarried both at different times. I can't wait to get my bfp. -
Has an one tried it on someon who doesn't have kids? I have on 3 people and the ring never moved which meant they would not have kids. Bit freaky.

Ok so what u do is if you're married or engaged use that ring if not use a ring u wear often! Take a strand of your hair, has to be long or a piece of string. Put the ring through it, and hold the string and ring over your left Palm.
The ring will then start to motion, circles indicates girl and sway back n forth indicates boy. so once u put the ring over ur left Palm and starts moving it will then come to a complete stop. Then it will either move again if u have more than one pregnancy ( it picks up abortions and miscarriages). It will come to a complete stop without moving anymore when you're finished having kids.
Let me know how u go, no matter how many times I do it, I get the exact same prediction. My friend has been doing this on people she knows for 20years and only 2 have been wrong. The rest all have come true.
If the ring does not move when u first put it over your palm then it means u will not have children.

My friends mother did this for me and it was wrong. It said boy girl boy boy. I have a boy and a girl now but Im currently pregnant (Team Green) and this will be the last. According to the prediction my husband is going to get some kind of shock if we have another or this one pops out as a twin. If I went with miscarriages it would be all off because my miscarriage was first so it would make my son the girl and my daughter a boy. I so wanted this to be true in some ways when she told me after I had my daughter as Id love four but my husband is 900% done after this that he is considering a vasectomy I think.

well this is really cool it told me what my kids i allready have now girl and boy and its saying my soon to be new one is going to be a girl!! so i guess ill find out in july!!!!

My best friend does this and it was accurate for me. She was recently inaccurate for her sister. It's a fun wive's tale!

I did this and it said girl, girl, boy then said another girl,girl now the thing is I've got the 2 girls and boy already but have my tubes tied..what does this mean?

Tried this as well and the order went girl, boy, girl then nothing at all.. I've had a miscarriage the first time then a boy the second time, have not yet planned on having another kid but if I have a girl then that's amazing.

Well, I did it. Tried 3 times. And I'm not superstitious. It said girl then stopped. It did it all three times. We have a girl and we're done.

@Emilia80: I did it three times, and got the same answer all 3 times. It was correct so far, if I DON'T count my m/c.

YES! Every time I've done it or demonstrated how it's done to others it says one boy and stops.

I got boy, boy, girl, girl. I have two boys and pregnant with #3 (will find out gender soon!), but this is our last. If I counted my miscarriage (first pregnancy), it would be wrong because that one was a girl.
