I've been drawn to this name lately. It strikes me as bold yet feminine. What do you think?

I think it's very awkward sounding. And kind of sounds like sasquatch? Not pretty

I like it and think it's def pretty/feminine but bold! I wouldn't use it personally because it doesn't fit our ethnic naming style (we use more Jewish-y names and I think of it as more Scandanavian though the one person I know irl with the name is half-German), but I do really like it.

I tripped up on the SK in the middle, at first glance I read Saksia.

I used to know a Saskia who kind of tainted the name for me...otherwise, I don't love or hate it.

I knew a Saskia in college. Very strong, bold, gorgeous girl. I wouldn't use the name personally, but think it's very pretty.

In Russian "saski" means "nipples". I can't get past that. I'm sorry.

That name was used on a character in a Lianne Moriarty book I enjoyed. Without giving away the plot, Saskia wasn't portrayed in the best light. Since that's my only association with the name, it wouldn't be my pick! I don't know of any in person, though, so...unique?

I don't think there's anything wrong with the name, but I knew someone extremely unpleasant with that name and so I have a negative association with it.

Ok, so I find it lovely, however I once saw a truly horrible film, The Vanishing, and it ruined it!
