Do you get seasonal allergies? How bad?
The last few days I've been so stuffed up. I keep thinking its a cold, but nothing else ever comes of it. Just a stupid congested nose. It's infuriating! Haha
I'm starting to think it's just seasonal allergies, which I do get every year. I just don't remember them being this bad before.

@spaniellove: really? Well I am proof for sure. Haha how do you find out if allergies will be worse one year vs. the next?

I'm not sure! I happened to come across an article a while back mentioning that they were more intense because of the terrible weather we had. It made sense to me at the time because I never get spring symptoms (mine are fall allergies), but they mentioned that the timing is all off this year and the different pollens are going to overlap with mold, which is tough for people.

I get them, and they totally suck. Someone told me that eating local, raw honey throughout the year can help reduce environmental allergies - I'm going to have to look more into that because mine are bad this year already!

I get pretty bad seasonal allergies in the fall, but they're not too bad in the spring.
I can't recommend a neti pot enough. Go get one! It's gross but it works so well!

@night cheese: I have one! Love it! I'm just waiting for my boiled water to cool so I can use it. Waiting torture.

I recommend a Neti pot as well! Sinus Buster nasal spray is great too--will def help your stuffy nose!! It has capsacin in it (think hot peppers). It burns like a SOB for 30 seconds but then you get sweet relief. My allergies are so bad (and trigger asthma attacks) I get allergy-therapy injections.

Ugh, I feel your pain! My allergies have been waaaay worse this year as well- at least on the East Coast, I think the brutal winter delayed a lot of the Spring plant blooming, so they all bloomed at the same time!
I think all the suggestions above are great (neti pots are awesome!), but unfortunately for me, the one thing that works above all else is a Rx for the generic version of Flonase. 
Whatever works to get you through the season!

My LO's doctor told us this is a bad year, my poor little guy has them. Last year was also a bad year and I had start a new cocktail of drugs to get at least a little bit of relief. I usually know it's a bad year when DH has them because he never does.
@.twist.: Do you take anything for yours? I get the most help when I do a combo of a prescription nasal spray and Zyrtec.

I feel you!! My throat is so itchy, and I keep sneezing (usually right when I get LO to sleep ugh).
Speaking of, do babies get seasonal allergies? LO keeps rubbing her mouth, nose and eyes.
