I'm in a complete panic. I've been using Aveda's All Sensitive cleanser and moisturizer for years and went to order more and found out they have discontinued the line. Of course I'm almost out of both. Other than calling some Aveda stores and buying more from stores it sounds like I have to look for another line. Any suggestions? I have really sensitive skin and would like something gentle. Gosh I loved that line and it's so hard to find something that works for my skin. Wah!

I use Olay sensitive foaming from the drugstore. It works great for me, have been using it for about 7 years now. I am senstive to most cleansers!

I like burts bees sensitive cleanser and dessert essence tea tree face wash. I usually keep both in my shower and switch off between the two.
I am still searching for a moisturizer I absolutely love.

I've been using the Soothe line from Rodan & Fields for a couple of months now and I love it! I never like anything and have sensitive combination skin that gets super dry in the winter. It's really gentle!

I also really like the Neutrogena naturals stuff, esp. the cream moisturizer.

At the suggestion of my dermotologist, I've been using CeraVe products and they're fantastic (or the drugstore/target generic versions)

I use Aveeno Active Naturals Ultra Calming Foaming Cleanser. I haven't found a favorite moisturizer, yet, though.

I use dr. Hauschka products and LOVE them. I also really like this soy foaming cleanser from Fresh. Smells awesome and super gentle

I'm super cheap and have super dry skin (it's sensitive but not crazy sensitive), and I use Pond's cold cream. For me it works as a cleanser and moisturizer. It has helped a lot with redness and texture. I get really rough, patchy and flaky skin on my face and this helps so much. Plus it's pretty cheap and available almost everywhere.

I use Earth Science moisturizer ... also, when I find my skin is especially sensitive, I only use soap on my "pits and bits" in the shower. I leave the rest of my body alone.

I order from Amazon and it's not ridiculously expensive -
I really love Body Shop's vitamin e cream. It works well on my sensitive skin and is lightweight.

I use raw honey (from Trader Joe's) as a cleanser in the shower -- non-drying and the sugar granules make it like a gentle, natural scrub.
I don't have a moisturizer I love, but I have been using Colleen Rothschild's cleansing balm at night, and it seems to keep my skin from even needing one really.

@mrsgreengrass: do you find the neutrogena cream moisturizer light enough for daytime use? I like to use a lighter formula during the day so I don't get greasy.
@marym: definitely going to check this out. Love the price point and since I'm at Target all the time it will convenient!
@yoursilverlining @silva: which Dr. Hauschka products do you use? Thinking maybe about trying to the Rose light moisturizer and wondering if it is light enough for day time use.

I recommend oil washing. I just use coconut oil.

I have ridiculously sensitive skin, I can't even use aloe for sunburns. So finding cleansers and moisturizers has been a life long search!
However, I found a product called First Aid Beauty, recommended by the make-up artist at Sephora. I use the face wash and moisturizer every day, I love it and my skin feels great. @Canoli: I really love the CeraVe PM moisturizer for a light moisturizer. I don't care for the AM version with the sunscreen, it's very thick and greasy. But I absolutely love the PM version and wear it during the day.

@kiddosc: For the AM...did you use the kind in the pump or the jar? I don't find the pump version thick or greasy at all.

@MaryM: I used the pump version. It didn't absorb into my skin well at all. I've never seen their facial moisturizers in a jar version though.

I like the Cerave PM lotion as well. I use it as a daycream with a separate sunscreen.
I wash my face with water only, using just a very soft microfiber cloth. It takes all the make up off, but I am also a big fan of oil cleansing. I am currently using one from Nuetrogena that probably won't work for really sensitive skin, but I think it's really worth looking at.

@kiddosc: Weird! I used to use Aveeno and needed several pumps to cover my whole face, but with the CeraVe I only use one. But I tend to be super dry so maybe that's why I feel like it absorbs better? I've been happy with it anyway

@MaryM: I feel like the AM lotion might only work well for certain skin types. The Amazon reviews are really polarizing. Some totally love it, and others say it doesn't absorb at all

I struggled with severe eczema on my face and neck for years, and the only products I used were CeraVe moisturizer (both AM/PM and the kind in the tub), Cetaphil cleanser and Aquaphor. I liked the CeraVe PM lotion the best.
I'm mostly recovered now so I'm back to trying new products that wouldn't have worked for my sensitive skin. But I will see that I love the Glossier Milky Jelly cleanser, and I'd recommend that for sensitive skin. It has a very light rose-tinged fragrance but is super gentle.

@Canoli: it's probably more of a nighttime, but I don't find it greasy. It's a clear cream and seems a bit lighter than most white creams...

I use Cerave, as others have said. I have switched to the hydrating wash and I use the PM moisturizing lotion, it is super light and gentle.

Have you ever heard of Arbonne? They have a sensitive line called Calm that has really worked for some people I know. Their products are vegan, gluten free, and botanically based. (not sure if I am allowed to mention but I recently became a consultant because I found myself sharing products I love with friends. Any interest, happy to chat).
