Hi ladies! Tentatively joining! I'm super excited to be here, but nervous as well. With my first LO, it took like 7-8 months of actively trying to get pregnant... with this one, it was the first month we actually "tried"! So we're still in a bit of shock at how quickly it happened!

    Location: CA

    EDD: September 25

    How far along: 4w 4d

First child? 2nd! My first LO was born Aug 2013, so these two will be about 25 months apart. Both excited, nervous, and terrified!

First doctor appointment: Haven't called yet. I had a chemical pregnancy once, so am a little hesitant. Will prob call next week. My office usually schedules the first appointment for around 8-9 weeks. I admit I have been taking pregnancy tests still, though, and they are getting darker... so hopeful.

Any symptoms so far? Not really. Maybe a little more emotional, crying easily, etc.

Who have you told? Just DH! Keeping it quiet until we get a little further along, see the heart beat, etc...

I haven't been on these boards for a while...I had twins in December of 2013 & needless to say I've been busy lol.

    Location: midwest

    EDD:9/15/15

    How far along:6w1d

First child? I have 1 yr old b/g twins & am pregnant with twins again!!

First doctor appointment: I will see my OB at 11 weeks & our specialist shortly after.

Any symptoms so far? Only symptoms so far is fatigue & the desire to eat nothing!

Who have you told? We told our parents right away. I found out at 3 weeks while sick with the stomach flu that we were pregnant. His siblings busted us out right away at a new years party. We have told all of our close friends & family as well as a few random strangers lol. We won't announce on social media till after we have seen our specialist.

@SproutBee: same. LO is 2 and he can't stand when I even look at another kid. I have to hold my baby niece when he's not looking! But you are right. Lots of time to prepare

I have my first doc appt set up for 3 weeks from today!

How far along: 6 weeks, almost 7

First child? No, first was an August 2013 baby who just turned 17 months, so they will be about 25 months apart.

First doctor appointment: February 5th (10 weeks) with a midwife.

Any symptoms so far? Sore nipples and decreased milk supply. Feeling guilty about that for my first little guy! Also persistent nausea and food aversions this week.

Who have you told? The grandparents and my sister in law.

We planned for this baby and wanted ours about two years apart, but I'm not sure I'm ready and I feel like I'm cutting short the babyhood of my first little guy! Anyone else still nursing another baby? I haven't decided if I will tandem nurse or not.

I seriously cannot believe I'm here again. Aw crap.

    Location: Quebec, Canada

EDD: Not sure ? Probably later half of Sept.
How far along: 4-5weeks? Maybe? just got a + this morning!

First child? HAHAHHAHHAHA. This will be my third. First was August 2012, second was August 2014. (Yep. You read that right. I am. So. Screwed.)

First doctor appointment: tomorrow. I requested a dating ultrasound so we'll get that sorted.

Any symptoms so far? I was going to say no but Ive had wicked insomnia over the last 2 weeks & I am hungry all. The. Time. But I'm still nursing & we just got over switching LO#1 to a toddler bed (aka multiple wakeups a night) so I just thought it was due to that....

Who have you told? Just you guys & my August 2014 group. SO is at work but I'll be telling him tonight (obviously).

My first ultrasound appointment is Friday. I am freaking out. I am almost 8 weeks and have had hardly any nausea. I know people say this can be totally normal, but I am so scared they are going to tell me there is nothing in there

  35. Somebunny

    cherry / 231 posts

@mrscobee: Don't freak out! With DD I only rarely had mild nausea and she's a happy healthy toddler now! I was just one of the lucky ones and maybe you are too. I'm praying for the same good luck this go around. Jealous of your Friday appointment though. Mine isn't for 3 more weeks.

Got my second betas back this afternoon, and looks like this is going well so far...so I'm officially joining. This is usually my downfall, so hoping I'm not jinxing myself.

    Location: Philly Suburbs
EDD: 9/24 based on ovulation date
How far along: 5 weeks tomorrow
First child? Hopefully our 2nd child, but it's my 6th pregnancy. LO #1 was 2 in September, so he'll be turning 3 just after my due date.
First doctor appointment: Tuesday is my first ultrasound.
Any symptoms so far? Nausea at times, and severe hunger at other times. Massive headaches as well.
Who have you told? DH, my parents and my boss. She knows about our infertility struggles and I have to miss a big meeting for our first ultrasound. She's also been hugely supportive.

And now I'd like to throw up with anxiety

@Somebunny: Thanks so much for the reassurance! I hope I am just lucky... I do have consistently very sore breasts, so it isn't like I have no symptoms or disappearing symptoms... Hopefully that still means good things for me
    @2PeasinaPod: Welcome and congrats!!!

    @ChelseaRose: yay! That's a line!
@2PeasinaPod: awesome. Congratulations FX for a sticky baby!
@mrscobee: I didn't have any with my first set of twins & haven't had any so far this time around either & I'm 6+2. Some of us are more lucky than others. With that but we are the ones who end up having picky eaters later lol.

@Sugar.Biscuit: I am very much in awe...I guess at least you know what you've gotten yourself into, right?
