@dc yoga bee: Could you add me to the list please? I'm gaining courage 💪 I think I ovulated on Aug 20th so am 11dpo now - so would consider myself 'out' for this month on Sep 4th so that could be my date? Thank you!
xX Good luck to everyone Xx

@Mrs. D: trust me, I know! I moved from low col to one of the most expensive col in America because this is where more jobs are, and I have law school loans to pay back! Hang in there!

@Tubbs: I hope you have a great school year and of course much luck TTC! For me, work is a great distraction! I teach French. I'm currently teaching as an adjunct at a local university and online for high school students but I have taught high school full time in the past.

Congestion, bloating, gas, pelvic twinges on the right, nausea, unquenchable thirst at 3-4dpo... Hmmm... These symptoms feel familiar to my first pregnancy! So anxious for testing!

I'm a roll over from August. AF is due Sunday. I got BFP starting at 8 DPO & they've remained really really light. I know you're not supposed to measure them against each other, but that's hard not to do! So at this point I'm in limbo land! I'm afraid it may be a chemical. If AF doesn't show by Sunday then I will test again.

@MommySLP: Have you seen your doc for a blood test? Apparently the new batch FRER are really light.

What time are people testing with OPK's? I've been doing 5pm and they are slowly getting darker, but I don't want to miss it.

So I'm pretty sure this is positive or almost positive (or will be this afternoon) hopefully DH will be in the mood tonight 😀

  9. psw27

    pomelo / 5220 posts

@MommySLP: my FRERs last month were basically defective - on the first one the control line barely showed up, let alone a BFP. I finally just started using Wondfos cause ever amazon review kept saying the new FRER were defective. Fingers crossed for you!

@Banana330: that's looks pretty positive to me too! Yay!

I'm in the middle of my TWW. I feel pretty good, if a bit anxious to know what's up this month. TMI but I've had terrible diarrhea after eating every day, but that started before O day. I'm eating only bland foods now to try and calm my reactive stomach.

  11. Banana330

    nectarine / 2317 posts

@Bibliolove: thanks i'm hoping my temps will rise tomorrow or the next day. I was worried about a super long cycle but it seems vitex might be doing it's job and it will only be slightly longer than it use to be.

Sorry about your stomach. Hopefully the bland food helps.

  12. peachykeen

    pear / 1648 posts

@Banana330: That looks like a great OPK! Did the Vitex change your O date at all? I expect to O on Sunday I think but have read Vitex can make you O early so doing daily OPKs already...

  13. Banana330

    nectarine / 2317 posts

@peachykeen: ya I wasn't expected to O until next tues! I use to O around CD 13-14 (before IUD) so it's moved it up about 4 or 5 days from last cycle). I had stark white OPK's starting last sat, so I was hoping to see them changing earlier than predicted.

@psw27: @Banana330: I haven't called the Doctor bc my period isn't even due til Sunday. I think I'll try in the morning with a digital & see what it says. I'm pretty done with the first response tests!!!

How's everyone doing? I'm on CD10, and I'm just "patiently" waiting to O! I'm going to start dtd every other day now just to make sure we cover our basis in that aspect! I decided that I'm not going to tell DH when I O, and keep it a little bit more spontaneous/surpirse! I even bought a cute little t-shirt I found on clearance (for $1.50!!!!) that says Big Sister on it! Hopefully I can put that on DD this month!

Hi everyone! Relatively new to HelloBee! Looking to meet some TTC friends as none of my friends are anywhere near ready to start families of their own, so it will be nice to meet people going through the same thing I am!

    Cycle Day: 25
TTC Cycle: 1st cycle after laparoscopic surgery to treat endometriosis
Ovulation Date: August 21st (based only on CM)
POAS Date: probably waiting until 9/3 or 9/4
    Baby #: 1
What's up this month: this is our first cycle trying after my endometriosis diagnosis earlier this year. We have this cycle and next cycle to try on our own until my doctor recommends IUI.
For Fun: As homage to Fall sports- what's you or your partner's favorite sports team - All Philadelphia teams, especially the Eagles!

Waiting to ovulate, and getting ready for my trip to Portland this weekend! I should be ovulating on Saturday or Sunday. I'm trying to keep myself busy. I had blood work today to check my Thyroid levels, hoping everything comes back normal.

@MrsD2442: Welcome! I know the feeling of not having any friends that are TTC. The only people that I knew that were TTC were my brother -in- law's friends, which I am not close with, so I often feel alone.

  20. Banana330

@Tionn3: jealous of your Portland trip. It's always been a place I've wanted to go but without kids, so I'll have to wait a few years til they get older.

    @Tubbs @JHD Yay teachers! I teach 3rd grade.

@Tionn3 Also super jealous of your Portland trip. I'm from there originally, and my husband got to go back recently but it has been forever!

I caved and tested today, nothing...but it's still early. I am very weak-willed when it comes to this whole waiting thing.

  22. MrsF

I caved this morning and tested too early against my better judgement. of course. AF isn't due until Tues but I'm sure I'll be peeing on everything now that I've started. I kind of hate this game

@Tionn3: thanks for the support! Glad to have a place to go to talk about it and not get that blank stare like *uhh, what are you talking about!!?* haha! And add me to the list of people jealous of your Portland trip! Sounds awesome and it's definitely on my list of places to go.

@msmilkshake: @MrsF: hang in there!!! AF is due for me on Monday, and I'm testing tomorrow morning. FX for you guys!

I started spotting today. It's super light so far and all brown (sorry, TMI!), but because of how light my tests have been all week I think it's prob the start of AF. Bummed but not surprised. I think I'll wait it out for the weekend & if nothing comes of it then call dr Tuesday. Such a weird cycle!

  28. peachykeen

@Banana330: Got a pretty strong positive OPK this afternoon! I think it's pretty much on schedule for me despite the vitex, but I haven't seen one this obviously positive since having DD/post-IUD removal. It's DH's birthday today so hopefully that's for us!

  29. Banana330

    nectarine / 2317 posts

    @peachykeen: that's awesome!

Ugh DH came home yesterday with a stomach bug and was still feeling horrible today. I think I've O'd already today. Which means at best we'll get O-2 and O+1... And I was so hopeful this cycle

@MommySLP: my thoughts are with you. I had a chemical in June.

@Banana330: I think our timing will be the same as yours. It isn't terrible timing though. Especially the o-2.

  33. Tubbs

    olive / 67 posts

@banana330 that timing does sound good still - I wouldn't give up hope! Which are the best days to dtd? If you only had two days - which would be best? Day of ovulation and day before? Ta

@mommyslp Sorry to hear - I'm still hoping it's just spotting though, the brown colour is strange no? Fingers crossed xx

  34. Banana330

    nectarine / 2317 posts

@Tubbs: ya I think O-1 or O are the best.

@Iced Tea: I know it's not terrible, just a little frustrated with the timing.

I'm sorry to be the first one to call out this month but my period just started today, a day earlier than expected. It's surprised me because I had really sore, heavy bbs for the last fortnight and have been exhausted but there ya go! Hope the BFPs happen for everyone else - good luck 😀

I'm out today too. If everything goes back to "normal" & I ovulate on time, I will POAS sept 30, so at least I get 2 tries this month! I also think I won't be testing early again!!
