Anyone with hard water have a good shampoo / conditioner recommendation? Our water is the worst and I've just been dealing with it for years but I'm so sick of it! I've been reduced to using my husband's cheap-o 2-in-1 Suave because its' the only thing that doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy and limp!

I don't know if our water is soft or hard, but I started feeling like it was getting hard to rinse all the shampoo out of my hair. Rinsing in layers (starting at the bottom) has helped. And I think clarifying shampoo is working too. I like the Acure brand.

We have REALLY hard water. I generally have dry hair. I finally found the right combo. I use Pureology's Hydrate shampoo and condition most of the time (basically every other day), and then once a week I use Paul Mitchell's clarifying shampoo. It works really well for me. I think any shampoo would work, as long as you use the clarifying once a week.

I use Live Clean apple cider shampoo and conditioner and it works well for me!! Our water is super hard and my hair is super fine and gets greasy easily.

So while I was on Amazon looking for clarifying shampoo I found this - its a shampoo / conditioner and weekly treatment specifically for hard water. I did the weekly treatment Saturday and have been using the shampoo and conditioner since then and my hair is AMAZING! Like I didn't even know my hair could be this soft and silky! Definitely worth a shot if anyone else is looking, its a great price too!

@HappyBaker: Wow! I don't even know if I have hard water or not, but I think they say if you get that copper-ish ring on your sink, your water is hard? I may give this a try too!
