I have shoulder blade, thick, full, wavy hair. I swear by Pureology products. Specifically the purple moisturizing, the pink smoothing, and every once in a while I use the green shampoo which clarifies and removes build up.

@mrskansas: the purple is a minty smell but it doesn’t last after the wash. I don’t smell it in my hair all day. My scalp gets very dry and this is the only thing that stops it.

My hair isn't as long as yours, but I find that what helps the most with keeping it from looking dry (and also helps with flaky scalp) is to periodically rub in a mixture of macadamia and argan oils (from scalp to ends), leave it in over night, and wash it out in the morning.
