Ooh the trees are so nice. Our potted tree is not so, but an old friend. We have had it for three years...lives outdoors most of the year.

@photojane: the ribbon was alot easier than i expected! although i had the "vision" for what i wanted the tree the look like, the husband executed - he was way better at twisting and sticking the ribbon into the tree than me!

I love seeing all of your trees! We just finished putting the ornaments on. I wish it had more lights like all of you, but when we opened the box that had all the lights we found a broken snow globe that soaked all the lights so I had to throw a ton of them away. I couldn't rationalize spending any more money on lights when I have a breast pump and monitor to buy in the next few weeks :)

Ours is up. We have the lights and a ton of ornaments on it. I think we have too many darn ornaments so I got lazy and sat down without outing them all on. We'll see if hubs has the inspiration to put the rest on there.... I dont think they are necessary but he's sentimental and some of them are from family so he'll probably put them up.

tree envy here!! we can't put up a real tree so we have a scrawny fake tree I hate... and now that DS is all over and climbing on everything I could just foresee him pulling the tree and making it fall on him! So I think we'll forgo the tree this year (sighs).

@Mrs. Pen: my LO pulls up on everything and grabs everything but hasn't tried to touch the tree yet...we only decorated half of the tree though so there are no ornaments within her reach to tempt her...looks silly but you can only see the top half of the tree from outside our house so it looks pretty from the outside at least :)

I remember when my ds was little (10 years ago) we bought blue spruces, and strange as it is they're very very hard to find here in Oregon and I'm sad. That taught him not to touch quickly!! Can't wait to put ours up :) I found a pinterest tutorial on how to decorate with wide wire ribbon that gives the eclectic look I love, can't wait to try! -

Yayyy I love Christmas.. We got ours today from a tree farm...so much fun! Can't wait to have a LO to share this with...got a little emotional seeing all the kids today ;-( Hoping for a Christmas BFP.

I love Christmas trees! We're not doing one in our house because C and I won't be here with DH for Christmas. We're going to help my parents put up theirs next weekend!
