i'll share two to kick things off!
1. i never sneeze just once. always two or three times in a row!
2. i have a strange phobia of clusters and patterns. for example, looking at honeycomb kinda gives me the heebie jeebies. and the absolute worst are the spores that grow on the backs of fern leaves. i have the goosebumps now thinking about it!

Fish scare me. I can't look at their faces and the thought of them touching me makes me want to jump out of my skin. I do love to eat them, though.

I only ever hiccup once, maybe twice. Totally weird.
I also get "chills" that basically look like miniature seizures. Some of the residents at the hospital where I work have actually been concerned. Sometimes I make a little noise, like a mouse squeak.

Oh my gosh, I totally have the clustered hole phobia too!! DH thinks I'm a freak, but my sister has the same weird phobia. I wonder if anything weird with clusters of holes happened in our childhood...

I think 'moist' is a foul word. I like putting my makeup on in the car, I don't mean while I'm driving, I just mean I like sitting in my car to put it on. I lied & put cultural anthropology down as a science on my high school graduation form. I don't like pizza or coffee. I hate unicorns. And I don't know how to play chess.

My own random quirky facts:
* I drink a ridiculous amount of Diet Peach Snapple every day. When I die, short their stock.
* When I was young, I would eat a slightly obscene number of apples a day (whichever brand of apple was on sale). Now I rarely eat apples but when I do, I am able to eat them alarmingly quickly.
* In general, I eat food really quickly because we didn't have a lot of food growing up and so I wanted to get seconds before we ran out.

@mrbee: i eat food really quickly, too! but, it's because i usually end with a fifteen minute break to scarf down lunch. when i go out with my teacher friends we're done with our food in a matter of minutes and it's slightly embarrassing.
and, have you ever heard of the apple diet? it's pretty much just eat nothing but apples. terrible for you, but i bet you'd stick with it!
@Leialou: my sister is kinda like that, too. it used to be to the point that if she hit her right leg on something, she'd have to hit her left leg on it, too!

Ugh this is a little embarrassing actually. Every time I get a shot, or an IV, anything to do with a needle, I pass out. Not just get faint and dizzy....nope literally pass out I get so nervous and scared. No idea why, it really doesnt hurt, but I get sooo anxious and my heart races sooo fast that I lose control and pass out! It's happened many many times!

@MrsBrewer: haha, im glad you aren't scared by it. it really freaks people out! sometimes if i know i'm going to be sleeping on a plane or somewhere public, i think about putting sunglasses on so people don't get scared. haha

Just thought of one more, it might actually be pretty common, but I'm allergic to wine! Ok...I'm allergic to sulfa which is a preservative this has high content in most wines. I will still drink 1/2-1 glass, but after 1 sip I will be completed flushed in the face and will start getting sweaty

Quirky Facts:
1. I hate bare feet, I have to wear shoes and socks to get out of bed. Flip flops and open toed shoes are a mind bender for me...
2. I cannot watch any movie starring Nicholas Cage as (a) I find him physically repulsive and (b) his career is solely the product of who he was related to (Francis Ford Coppola)
3. In college my greatest area of interest was intestacy (how to divide estates when people die without a will) and I ended up in tax law.
4. I know far more about my MIL's vagina than anyone would ever need to. Apparently she has a cervix that requires extra long speculums...seriously, she randomly told me this recently.

I have a weird issue about stockpiling kids clothes for next season. For example, my 2.5 year old is totally outfitted for winter and we are almost totally outfitted for next summer too. Same goes for my 3 month old. It is weird and unnecessary...but I can score some great deals!
Other than that, I CANNOT go to bed until the kitchen is clean and counters are all wiped. Like, I CANNOT do it. I will get out of bed and finish if I haven't already!

When I graduated college I interviewed for a job to drive the Weinermobile. As part of the second round of interviews you had to sing the Oscar Meyer bologna song on camera. I didn't get the job.

@woodentulip: I have the same weird habit with our kitchen.
I used to only eat ice cream during the winter because I like that the ice cream doesn't melt as quickly or at all. I especially like having it after a day of snowboarding. I'll sit on the snow and enjoy my ice cream slowly. But now, I'll eat it during the summer as well because of the kids.

Ohhh! I just thought of something else! I am SO paranoid about my kids' sleep that I will make everyone else around me so uncomfortable as I plan out everything around when they nap. Which is fine for days that just involve us, but gets really awkward around other people
