A week ago I posted about announcing my pregnancy on Facebook to friends & distant family on Labor Day. You all gave me some amazing ideas and it ended up being a big hit! I wanted to share my Announcement Photo with you all and in return I'd love to see your own Announcements!

We are 12 weeks today, and are planning to announce at 20 weeks which is halloween! I think It will just me a picture of me in some sort of costume, and we will announce the gender then too Nothing too big, we hope to tell most people in person before then! I LOVE these threads!

Thank you everyone! I was a NERVOUS WRECK when we posted. But it ended up being a great thing and I'm kinda just glad it's all over now and everyone knows. 
@Champagne that sounds like a super cute idea! You have more patience than me waiting till 20 weeks. I am 11 1/2 weeks. I was worried that I announced too early but in the end I am putting faith in my choice and I just finally felt ready.

Aww I love it! We haven't announced yet but we will in a few weeks with a picture of A crying and a big sis chalkboard. I'd rather not share on a non gold thread though

Ours makes more sense if you see our first one, so the first is our announcement for #1, the second is our announcement for #2, and the last one is what we stuck into DD first birthday invites to announce to family.

I did this one online for twitter/my blog and did one that said "Baby (LASTNAME)" instead of "hello baby" on facebook, I'm REALLLLY into nail polish so this made sense for me

I did some chalkboard art the day I found out I was pregnant and then posted this when I was about 10 weeks. It's still up in my kitchen!

These are all so cute! I wish we'd done something more...creative, lol.
For FB, I posted a picture from our NT scan with the status update: "David McK is going to be a Daddy, and I'm pretty sure it's mine."
Dave posted on his: "Attention to All my friends and Family; My wife has a parasite the size of a peach growing inside her womb. The doctors say it will naturally exit the body sometime in early august. Stay tuned." along with a screenshot from Alien(s?) where the thing is popping out of the guy's chest. Classy guy, my husband...

So many cute announcements! I love your onesie post, OP, but DH and I are rivals across the board so that one would have only worked with twins
Instead we went neutral and incorporated the lake where we met, fell in love, got engaged, and announced our pregnancy. We included a comment about seeing so many beautiful sunsets together and being excited to share them with someone new. "Baby Indi" due February 2014.
