Shortie! I actually prefer short boots now- you can wear them with everything and just slip them on.

@Smurfette: I have an old pair of riding boots and an old pair of uggs. All my shorties are heeled! (3 inch+)

I tend to go for taller boots... But I love the trendy look of the short ones too! No help.

I have recently really loved short boots--I can wear them with more pants, whereas high boots for me always need to be over the "perfect" skinny jeans so I don't get saggy knees above the boots.

I wear short boots during the fall and winter. I've never found long boots that look good on me.

@mrsjyw: then I vote short! I have big calves so tall don't work on me, but I know you don't have that issue, but if you have a tall pair, I would get short so you have that option.
Short will go with skinny jeans or under bootcut, so win win

I can't do short boots...I have an athletic build and they make my legs look huge. So I'd go tall!
ETA: But I can see you totally rocking the short ones!

I like short boots bought a couple last year, but for work and with skirts I usually wear tall for the warmth!

Of those two, the tall...but I bought two different short pairs at the sale
one had zippers on both sides and one was heeled suede with straps.
