DDs wear dresses to school sometimes and they like to wear shorts under their dresses, but I only have a couple of pair (hand me downs) and I haven't been able to find anything in stores.
What kind of shorts does your DD wear under dresses? Where do you find them? Bonus points for specific brands or links!

I get cheap shorts from our local Walmart or on Facebook from another mom in the area. Leggings are also great under dresses.

I do similar bike shorts as @Mrs. Cereal: I have found them at Old Navy, Target, and Carter's/ osh kosh. My local target has a bunch on clearance right now actually. I've also found that when under a dress she can wear a big range of sizes- we have sizes from 2t-5t that all work at the moment since they are so stretchy.

Bike shorts. The children's place, old navy, target, kohls jumping beans brand, carters.
Until they can act proper, meaning not exposing their underwear or diapers, I require shorts.

The daycare playground is all wood chips, and she wears a lot of dresses in warm weather, so I like to put her in shorts or thick leggings just since I imagine it's more comfortable than getting poked in her bare skin. They are all Carter's hand-me-downs.

I watch our local gymboree and stock up there. I think they wound up makes down to $3 and then I used a 20% coupon. They are always in those bins you have dig through.

We've bought some at Kohl's. Now DD refuses to wear shorts under dresses because "princesses don't do that" Ugh.

My daughter hates bike shorts so she wears toweling shorts under hers. Any shorts are better than none, imo.

My toddler daughter has been wearing three pair all spring and summer. In order of durability: Old Navy, Jumping Bean, then Carter's (these faded and stretched out).
Today I got some on clearance at Belk for $2. I saw some at Gymboree today also.
