So maybe I'm overthinking this due to LO's original bottle pickiness, but I somehow want to make it through the bottle-to-cup process without buying every cup under the sun or spilling a bunch of breastmilk! LO drinks from Lasinoh Momma bottles. I bought the Nuk sippy cup bc it seems similar to his bottles & Spoutless Munchkin 360 Cup bc I'm intrigued by the design. I have a Thermos FOOGO cup saved in my Amazon list. DH & I drink almost exclusively from Camelbak water bottles, not open cups.

I've done some reading &feel a bit confused by the different guidelines. Tell me if I have this right....

TIMING / TYPE
- 6 months: Introduce sippy cup
- 9 months or earlier if possible: Introduce straw cup & open cups
- 12 months: End bottles, switch to straw cups and open cups

WHAT GOES IN IT?
- Bottles are for breastmilk & formula.
- Very little water until 9 months
- Preferably no juice but again, at least wait until 9 months
- Sippy cups & straw cups are for water and juice.

What am I missing? Is my timeline off? I've also read about hard spouts vs soft spouts vs no spouts at all, but I don't really care too much about that issue.
