I started sleep training my 6 month old about 2 weeks ago? His sleep has improved a LOT already, but I guess I'm unsure of the next step.

I haven't had his 6 month appointment yet, he got a bit behind in a move, so I haven't heard from the DR if I should drop all night feedings or not. I imagine the answer is it's okay (he's progressing normally and nearly 20 lbs.).

He is sleeping about 7-7. When I put him down he does a light fussing for 5 minutes and then is alseep. However, he still wakes up around 11-1 once or twice and fusses 5-10 minutes. He usually requires one check in before he goes back to sleep. Should I just stop going in to see if it will stop?

He is also still eating around 2-3 AM. I don't mind one night time feeding. I'm not sure if it's causing the overall issue though by introducing confusion by picking him up in middle of the night?

He wakes around 5 and wants to nurse again. I know it hasn't been long enough where he 'needs it' from last feeding, but if I don't he seems happy to get up for the day. If I nurse him he sleeps until 7.

What should I do next? Not check on him during midnight fussing? Drop his feeding at 2 and just do checks until he gets past it? Try a dream feed?
