Looking for recommendations for sneakers for wide feet in toddler sizes for my DD (currently around size 7 or 8). We started out with See Kai Run (normal widths) and those were fine for awhile but the soles kept coming apart, then moved on to Stride Rites in wide (and even extra wide) widths, but those still seem tight on her. Any other brands to recommend?
For mary janes, we still seem to be ok with Stride Rites, but for whatever reason, the sneaker styles I've bought for her have run narrow.

I've gotten my wide footed toddler SKR (never had a problem with them falling apart), stride rite from target, and regular stride rite, saucony in wide. Sometimes it just depends on the style of shoe.
ETA: ive also gotten her Livie and Luca, but those are out of my price range most times.

My son has my flat, broad feet and he has been wearing converse since he could walk. The Velcro ones, not tied. They hold up great we just keep getting the same ones each time he has to move up a size.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: Thanks, I'll take a look at Saucony. Hehe I know, Livie and Luca have gorgeous stuff but my kid just kills shoes (probably why our SKR soles fall apart but yours don't!).
@SweetiePie: Never considered converse because I have really wide feet and they have never fit me right, but I will have to check them out in toddler sizes!

@catlady: I've never tried them for myself! But they seem to fit DS just fine. They seem pretty roomy but not overly so.
I order from diapers.com and Zappos because both have free returns if they don't fit.

My 14 month old wears 6.5 wide in stride rite so I feel your pain. We either have to do ExW or wide in certain styles that tend to run wider. Have you gone into a store? The sales girls are always very helpful in pointing out the wider shoes. It may also help to go up a half size.
FWIW we tried saucony wides and they wouldn't close on my guy
