More and more people are using the Hellobee Classifieds, which has a really exciting development!

Given all the buying and selling, we wanted to share some tips on how to use the Classifieds:

* The safest way (that I'm aware of) to make payments on the Classifieds is through Paypal! If you fil0e a dispute within 45 days of payment, then you can either settle the dispute or escalate it into a claim:

* If you're using a payments provider other than Paypal, make sure they support dispute resolution! Amazon Payments appears to support it, although I've never used it before... and their disputes have to be filed with 30 days of payment, not 45:

* If you use Paypal, *don't* send the money as a gift. A gift doesn't charge you any fees, but if there's an issue... you can't use the dispute resolution system.

* If you haven't received an item, it's probably best to first post a friendly note to the seller's wall (or send them an email). There may have been a misunderstanding... regular communication is key!

* If you're coming up on 45 days after paying a seller, don't wait to file a dispute! File it before your 45 days are up... you can always close the dispute if there's been a misunderstanding.

* When you've sold your item, make sure to close out your listing! (Then it will disappear from the top of the Classifieds.) You can do this yourself: just look for the link that says, "CLOSE ITEM".
