I am looking for recommendations on wine tours in Sonoma. My best friend and I are headed there to celebrate our 40th birthdays and we are staying for 4 days. We were hoping to use a service of some sort one of the days so we won't have to worry about driving ourselves.
Any suggestions on tours that take you to good wineries? While we're at it, winery suggestions? We are staying near Sonoma plaza.

No tour recs, but two small wineries I love that have amazing wine and are gorgeous settings are bartholomew park and scribe!

Platypus tours! We've used them 3 times and always had a great experience. They're really good about going to small, off the main path wineries that you would not find if you were just driving around on your own.

@Mrs. Pajamas: funny, girl and the fig caters lunches at one of the wineries suggested above. 
We can try all of them at once!

Sonoma is beautiful! The Girl & the Fig is a great restaurant right off of the plaza. I dont know anything about tour companies.
If you want to explore a little outside of Sonoma, I HIGHLY recommend making your way to Iron Horse Vineyard in Sebastopol. They make sparkling, champagne, rose. The scenery is amazing. and it is so rustic chic. http://www.ironhorsevineyards.com/

I enjoyed Castella di Amirosa (its a castle!) and Sterling Vineyards. I think its in the next valley over in Calistoga though, so a little ways from where you're staying.

@mediagirl: yes! Well its actually called an aerial tram but you're in gondolas (not a train) with your friends and it takes you over the fields to the winery. Its super pretty! Try check out the Sterling Vineyards website, I think there's some photos of the gondola.

Hi everyone! I'm going on a girls trip to Napa/Sonoma in a little over a month and will be staying in Sonoma as well. Any recommendations for dinner? Also, any markets/cafes we should check out?
