We do Secret Santa at work and the person I'm buying for is a huge Sbux lover!
Any fun ideas?
I'm leaning towards a sweater Sbux cozy from etsy.

There's a $150 Swarovski crystal travel mug on their website. I'm sure that's in your Secret Santa budget, right?
The mug/cup cozies on Etsy are very cute. Or a gift card and one of the red cup ornaments?

Not "fun", but totally useful, starbucks cup/travel mug with a gift card. Nothing like getting free Starbucks drinks! Or Sam's/Costco has those Starbucks gift baskets.

@regberadaisy: that would be cute! Maybe put it on a starbucks cup (I am sure they will give you one for free) and throw in a $5 gift card too (if its in the budget)

I'm a Starbucks addict and would love just a gift card the most! Or maybe a gift card plus one of the little holiday ornaments?

@Alivoo01: yeah, that's a good idea. Maybe a travel mug with the sweater sleeve, and if there's $ left a small GC!

@Mamaof2: haha that's adorable!
@lawbee11: would you prefer more money in a GC or a reusable Starbucks travel mug? She doesn't have one.

@regberadaisy: I would prefer more money in a gift card but I guess it depends on the person. I get a Starbucks latte daily but I don't drink coffee outside of that one latte, so I wouldn't have much use for a travel mug. If your co-worker drinks coffee at work outside of just Starbucks then maybe it would be more useful.
ETA: I was gifted a Starbucks cold cup and I do use that often but for water, not coffee. So that's an option!

@regberadaisy: I love travel mugs, and it would be nice if she doesn't already have one. But personally, I'd love the gift card more...nothing like someone else buying coffee for you!

@Mrs. Oatmeal: @tinyperson: @lawbee11: thanks! I think I will get the cozy for her and packaged it like @Mamaof2: suggested and get her a GC for the remainder. Thanks ladies!

They have a really cool artist mug collection right now! As a fellow Sbux lover, I would love to get that!

@MrsKoala: ooh I didn't see that on their site. Can you link it? TY!

@regberadaisy: Some of the designs are on the site but I swear I saw more in my local store but this is one of them: http://store.starbucks.com/kitten-at-play-mug-16-fl-oz-011051493.html?navid=drinkware&start=6
I think it's called the Dot Collection.

Green! It won't stain as badly with the inevitable coffee drips. And I like it better.

I am going to agree with @pwnstar: neither. While I get the concept of the gift, I honestly don't see someone using it regularly. I got some like it for bridesmaids gifts and I have never seen one use them 5 years later. My sister might have used it a handful of times.

@Smurfette: hmmmm fair point. Thanks for the input!
@pwnstar: I plan to do a GC and a gift. I don't like to give just GCs.

@regberadaisy: If you want to give a gift, what about a festive holiday treat with the gift card attached? Giving gifts for the sake of giving gifts is how people end up with so much clutter/stuff!

@pwnstar: I normally do but she's single, young, and freeeeee and watching her weight. we're friendly.
I actually really do think she will use this! She gets Starbucks like 3-4x a week...but we'll see if I can come up with something better.

@regberadaisy: I get Starbucks every day and I would not use that. They always put the cardboard sleeve on mine without me asking, so it would require me to take the cardboard sleeve off, carry that one with me, then put that one on in its place. And knowing myself I'd probably accidentally throw it away with the cup.

@lawbee11: hmm good point. Ok, fine. Back to the drawing board!

I would just get a gift card and put it in one of those pretty gift card boxes!

I make these every year for my LO's daycare teachers. There is a $15 Starbucks gift card inside the cup in addition to the Hershey kisses. It was super easy to do!

@Lilbear: omgosh super cute with the free cup! I might steal that to package the gifts!

@Lilbear: I'm totally stealing this for daycare teachers, super cute!

I would use this if I got it!
Has to be hand washed, though.

This is dishwasher safe.
You could get a Starbucks ceramic mug and get some ceramic markets and if you have nice handwriting... You could DIY this.

sb addict here.
100% agree on the gift card.
But for a gift, depends on their drink preference. For example, I get an iced coffee almost daily or some other iced espresso drink. Never anything hot, even if it's freezing. It's just a preference thing. I was gifted a personal tumbler and a cup from students and its collecting dust in my storage. One mom knew my preference and gave me one of those cold cup tumblers and I use it daily.
I would like a cute Starbucks ornament.
