So baby girl has just started throwing tantrums. Not horrible ones and they don't happen often but they seem more like tantrums - 'I know what I want and I'm pissed that I can't have it RIGHT NOW' than just baby tears. I want to get started on the right foot with how to handle them but I'm not really sure what the right foot is. I usually check the situation out to make sure it's just a fit and she's not actually hurt and then ignore it. Sometimes she stops on her own and sometimes it takes some hugs. I was reading Harvey Karps 'happiest toddler on the block' and I feel like everything in there is a bit early for us, LO just turned 11 months so talking/reasoning/giving choices doesn't have much affect on her yet.
