Do you have a lot of static at home? Our couch is so staticky I get shocked maybe 5x a day!
Should I rub dryer sheets all over it? What do you do to keep your house static-free?

Our couch is staticky, too. The hubs and I try to super shock each other. But we have to stop because the hubs accidentally shocked LO and she cried. LOL. I rub a dryer sheet on it very seldomly. I'm afraid it'll somehow ruin the sofa.

Maybe there is not enough moisture in your home? We have a central humidifier set up and I've yet to feel any static in the house, but we also have majority hardwood floors so that could be it too!

We don't have any static here. I remember when we'd go up north to ski when we were younger we'd always make a game out of rubbing our socks on the ground and shocking each other.

@Rubies: HAHA. we've accidentally shocked our LO but I don't think she noticed/felt it? @sunshine44: ooh I've been thinking about getting a humidifier/air cleaner! Totally going to order one today. @artbee: lol we used to do the same when we were younger!

In the winter my husband and I shock each other all the time. It's so annoying!
