What brand do you use? I have only tried one kind (from Trader Joe's) and I don't really like the gloppy texture but maybe they are all like that?

Have you tried sticking it in the fridge? I feel like all of TJ's nut butters are very gloppy...but then when i refrigerate them (especially the peanut butter one), they take on the texture of the Jif peanut butters!

I find that the TJ's one is really goopy at the beginning and then kind of hard at the end of the jar. I think the oils bubble up? I'm going to try storing it upside down for our next jar and see how that works.

@sunny: that's how we store all of our nut butters so that the oil doesn't separate at the top and it's not all hard and dry at the bottom.

@blackbird: Yes, they are stored in the fridge and still so gloppy!

@sunny, that happened to me because i would eat all the oil up and then...there would be none left. I hate that it requires so much stirring. I just wanna eat it!

@blackbird: Yeah, maybe I will try one of those $$$ sun butters at the organic market! FX for a better texture!
