@Bao: it may never end! Lol I'm sure there just testing each other's boundries and eventually it will let up! I swear girls are the worst! Me and my two sisters fought all the time u till we found separate Interest.

Oh, boy, this is so timely. This is an exciting time in parenting land right now. Kiddo turned 3 on June 1st, I landed in the hospital with a back injury on June 4th, which she took very hard, and yesterday my husband landed in the hospital with an infection, and kiddo is fighting her 2nd medication-resistant ear infection at the same time AND she started in a new classroom at daycare this week as well. Kiddo is handling a lot, emotionally.

Our biggest challenges right now are her sleep, and potty training. On potty training, she's overall trained, but she refuses to poop in the potty and runs to the diaper. We've been accommodating and encouraging, but I'm not sure how to move her closer to doing this. She outright refuses to even try.

On the sleep end, since she turned 3 and that coinciding with my hospital stay, she started insisting that I stay in the room with her when she goes down for bed. She'll get outright hysterical if I leave. It's been a little better recently - I've been telling her that I'll be right back, and leaving for as long as she will let me be gone - but most nights I still have to come back in and sit with her until she's asleep. She also wakes up crying at night nearly every night, calling out for me. Some of it might be related to her recent ear infection as well, but it was happening even before that. It seems like she's having nightmares or something is unsettling her. Most of the time she falls right back asleep immediately, but I have to go in and reassure her that everything is OK. I'm hoping it's just a phase, but I feel bad that something is unsettling her so much.

@Mrs. Carrot: its so hard to keep calm sometimes but I so try to remind myself that its not intentional(for the most part) and that its usually his way of trying to get my attention because he needs support, boundaries, etc.

@Jackiedavis87: 6 months is such a milestone! Congrats! I also feel like the literal milestones start coming so fast starting around that time. I heart that age :). Sleep... That's another story! And for the libido thing... Everyone's different. At 18m, it's definitely more than it was at 6m but it's not the same and I am learning to be ok with that!

I'm struggling with getting my 4 year old to listen and for me to be more patient with her. It's so hard especially because my 4 month old is not sleeping and I am so sleep deprived.

@MrsSRS: I often feel like I am 2-3 steps behind, and everything I should be doing just throbs in my mind like a hang nail! I just wish I could organize and simplify my whole house but it's so overwhelming I just barely keep the laundry done and kitchen semi clean!

@Mrs. Carrot: We had issues with poop too. Maybe everyone does? The thing that finally helped was figuring out something he was really motivated by. In DS' case it was playing outside with his t-ball set. He was asking for it every day. I kept saying no because he fed attached to objects and was walking around with the bat afterwards accidentally hitting things. I finally told him if he pooped on the potty at school we play with it outside. He still had an accident that day, but he came home and wanted to play and I said no and he decided right then to poop in the potty. The next morning I reminded him again and he made it to the potty at school. It's been slow going but we're finally past that hurdle now.

My struggle is that I'm at the tail end of pregnancy and I just don't have much left to give. I'm tired and in pain all the time, and constantly stressed about food (I'm diabetic). I'm high risk and have millions of doctors appointments. I just want them next 5 weeks to be over.
