E has been battling with all kinds of feeding issues among his OT/sensory issues. Today he is 18 months and going for his first swallow study. I am nervous but hoping we can get some answers to his problems. Just this morning he threw up because he was choking on his cereal. 
It is so hard to watch him struggle. His appointment is at 1:45 EST.
Could you please keep E in your thoughts?

thinking of you! the test itself was always pretty quick for us and i was always right there in the room. i hope this gives you some answers and you can get all the right help for your sweet little guy!

I'm so sorry! Good luck. We are swallow study veterans so ask anything. If it turns out he needs a thicker consistency it's not the end of the world!

E passed his swallow study! However we did note that he isn't chewing food so that is lolly what is causing him to choke and gag. We will be working on chewing our food in therapy. Cheerios look odd going down his thought whole.
