From 3 months to 17 months, DD attended one daycare center. We changed at 17 months because, although I liked the price, center, etc., it was not convenient and the commute was killing me. She turned 3 at the end of June and has been at the new daycare center since about 17 months (November 2016). LO#2 is coming in December and I'm considering switching daycares. Again. I'm not crazy, I promise (or maybe I am?).

Our current daycare is a 10 minute drive north of where we live. Then I come back home, park and take the train to work. No biggie. BUT, when DD heads to kindergarten in 2 years, that will be local. So I will be going north to daycare and have her here. Not really convenient. I'm fine switching LO#2 to a different daycare around that time (when he/she is 18-24ish months) but don't know how wait lists are, etc. or if that will even be possible. The other option is moving DD beforehand. The new-new daycare has pros and cons. It seems like the pre-K program might be better structured, there will likely be kids that she will go to school with (there are none at the current daycare so once they leave pre-K, that's really it for friendships). I don't love the outdoor playground area but that's really the only con (well, and pricing).

Now I'm torn between trying to move DD now/soon or waiting and moving LO#2 there later (and there might not even be space). Thoughts? Have I lost my mind to move her again?
