Anyone shop Target's 25% off toy sale today? What did you get?
We got a game for an upcoming birthday, some small stocking stuffers and waffle blocks for LO3's Xmas present.
Anyone find an amazing deal?

We ended up getting my son a Kidcraft deluxe fire station set, some Paw Patrol stuff for my nephew and a birthday gift for my son’s friend. I was going to do online Black Friday shopping but I figured I would just get it today.

I got a few birthday and christmas gifts- including items I had almost ordered from Amazon yesterday! Ride on toy for my nephew, and a doll stroller for my LO's 2nd bday. Plus I got some Moana figurines to put on top of her cake.

I got DS a swing set for his birthday the week before Christmas, I was looking a ride in 12v car, but didn't see anything I liked. All in all it was a great deal though

I got some Christmas shopping done for some of my cousins’ kids. I got 2 Matchbox monster truck sets for 3 year old twins, a bag of plastic monster trucks for a 2 year old, and an Infantino set of texture balls for a 6 month old.

@crazydoglady: last year I found it kind of hot or miss. Target had some great Cartwheel deals but you never know what will be on sale or when. I didn't see any deal last year that was as good for almost all the toys. Have you checked what's on sale for Black Friday?

@skipra: I did and it seems more like specific items. I ended up buying the cat keyboard by b toys, an easel, and a movi robot.

I picked up the Batman Imaginext thing that D has been asking for. It's huge and I'm totally meh on it, but it's literally the only thing he's asked for since August. I got a doll and some doll nursery furniture for A. And a game for my nephew. I saved close to $70, so I was pretty happy about that!

@crazydoglady: There are some one-day cartwheel deals that might be better on specific items, but for me, not having to bear the Black Friday crowds is worth paying a little bit more. When I got there yesterday at 8, there were 4 or 5 other people waiting to get in. We all took our time, shopped around, and I was done by 8:20. Granted, I knew what I was shopping for, but still. It was not at all chaotic. The only reason I was there at 8 was because a) I had to work at 9 and b) my store had limited stock of the Batman thing.

I got DD a VTech flashlight, saved a couple bucks compared to Amazon and I had Target gift certificates from random past deals.

@crazydoglady: I don’t know but i feel like it was a good enough deal that I’m not going to go crazy. I ordered online and they have free shipping and returns so if I find a better deal i can always return.

I got a couple of things that we had been planning on for LO (playdoh, piano, puffy sticker book, fingerpaint) but there were definitely some items I passed on because it would have been more than amazon even with the 25% off. I figured I can return if I find better deals.

i bought a bunch of stuff (mainly for a large donation I had planned to do and the toy sale really worked out timing wise) but also got some smaller stocking stuffers for LO like Cars vehicles, some wooden trains, etc.

MIL got DD a calico critters tree house.
I was able to stack a coupon, a groupon and a daily deal earlier this month and got an 18 inch doll, markers and a board game for $10!

@crazydoglady: for me it was “good enough” not to worry about items selling out (several in my online cart did) or crazy crowds. I’m determined not to have to scramble this year:) if you get lucky and hit a one day cartwheel special you might do better, but the main Black Friday sale on toys Target has is but one get one 50% off, which averages out to 25% at best if you buy two equal value items from participating brands.
Personally, I bought the Our Generation vet and grooming sets, and a few small accessories. I️ bought a Hatchimals Collegtibles playset last week with the 25% off one item coupon stacked on a sale for almost $17 savings on just the one toy! That was probably my lucky score of the season.
