@Mrs. Lovejoy: Yeah, she was pretty horrible. But the worst part is she totally doesn't even realize it. Just socially awkward and oblivious. Made me feel pretty crappy for a bit though.

With my first, I told my principal and dept chair at 13 weeks. A week or two earlier at a faculty meeting, my principal had said, "Thank God no one is pregnant!" That made it awkward haha.

This time, I am 10 weeks and I still haven't spilled the beans. Trying to wait until 12/13 weeks.

I actually just sent an email to my principal and "cc"ed the school secretary. She was the only one to respond with paperwork.

I scheduled a meeting with him at 12 weeks because I needed to tell my work so I was no longer put in "high risk" situations. My boss was AMAZING - he was/is so excited for me and couldn't be more awesome.

I scheduled a meeting with my old boss and told her at 12 weeks last time.

I have the NT scan next tuesday at 12 weeks and will be telling my boss after the appt. I'll probably just tell her at her desk more than scheduling a meeting this time. We're friends too so I don't want to make it a formal meeting. I'll tell HR the same day.

I told my boss after everything checked out at our 8 week ultrasound. I'd already been to the doctor a couple of times and have a longer appointment coming up soon, so I know it would get suspicious if I didn't tell. He was really happy for me. I'm lucky to have a pretty family friendly job, and everyone else that I work with has kids already.
