So we were catching up on last week's Grey's Anatomy, normally it's not real graphic and DD wants to be a doctor and LOVES doctor show,so I let her watch with me. Well they decided to SHOW a baby being born via C-section. and I had to explain what was going on to my 3 year old. I said that mommy had her via a C-section and that's how she came out of my belly and she just ran with it, but now is telling everyone "mommy has a big scar because I was cut out of her tummy" ha.

Yea it was a bit graphic of an episode! I guess its the fact though!

When I was pregnant I told my class of 4-5 year olds and then we discussed it a little bit and I was shocked at how many of them thought babies only come out by being cut out of your tummy. I guess a bunch of them were c section babies. I told them that's not how all babies come out and then ended up being a c section mama also!

Yeah, it was graphic - and I'm having a c/s in 4 weeks. I stopped watching...

Yeah, I was watching and DD1 burst into tears, crying, what's wrong with that baby!! I turned it off immediately.
Oops. I had a lot of explanations on that one.

I'm almost 13 weeks pregnant and still a little queasy about stuff like that--thankfully my mom watched it and warned me! I'll skip straight to this week's episode for sure.

@tinyperson: I watched a video of a c section that a friend sent me after we had both had c sections. It was really interesting! Definitely not for the weak stomached! I had no idea that they were so complicated.
