Has anyone else watched this show on Netflix? I'm only 2 episodes in but so far, it's so great. "Perfect" moms, awful moms, over-protective moms, over-involved dads....

I watched the first episode. If anyone's a fan, another show is Catastrophe on Amazon Prime. Also good.

Thanks for posting about this!!! I don't like a lot of shows and I love this one! Cracks me up and i was reminiscing the "good" old days (when DS was a baby) . Thanks

@Alba4: Yes Hahahaha.
I think the show is great and relatable EXCEPT the moms group and moderator. That isn’t my experience at all. The moms group I joined had such a kind and supportive moderator and the moms were all kind and supportive of each other. I think it’s weird how they paint these moms to be such bitches to each other and the moderator to be so cold! I guess they are trying to capture the mommy wars/judgement aspect, but in my experience that only happens in online forums.

I started watching this after seeing this thread. Oh man the "mom brain" episode rung so true. "where are my words?"

I watched the first two episodes too. I liked them and thought they were funny, but at the same time they didn't fulfill that escapist entertainment need for me, too close to home maybe I'll watch the rest when I need a baby fix

@SweetiePie: I totally saw it differently. Like they're "bitchy" because they're honest with each other. But when it matters they're there for each other; like when they try to show her how to breast feed, let her borrow mommy books and even the sit-in part.
Totally loved it.

@hellocupcake: Oh I’m talking about when she first walked in. Like first and then 2nd time when she went back. Not once she started befriending them.
Idk, I’ve joined actual mom groups like that and no one was ever rude or mean when we first met! Or ever! But we did get real with each other.

@SweetiePie: I thought the cattiness in the first episode was more about each mom being defensive about her own choices or circumstances so coming off as bitchy- like Audrey obviously has some negative feelings about her birth and then c section, so she made the joke about not being too posh to push, because she feels uncomfortable about the whole thing. Then the other mom who elected a c section got defensive and also came off as bitchy. But as they let their guard down it was like, yeah I succeeded at sleep training but my husband ditched me for two weeks and I had to do it all alone and also hey i pee my pants, my kid sleeping through the night is all I have to cling to as a success right now.
That was my take on it. The moderator being so cold didn’t make much sense to me though.
