For those of you who don't want to read the article, I will break it down for you a little:
Apparently, men think women think the perfect man is the dude on the left. While, apparently, women think the perfect man is the dude on the right. Place your vote girls, which one would you choose?

I was going to add another poll option, "There is more to the perfect man than looks", but I think that answer is too obvious and I know so many of you would probably choose it and I want to be mean.

The guy to the right seems more approachable and more like a "family guy." Plus, I feel like I would have to go to the gym if I were with the guy on the left.

While the guy on the left is definitely hot, I'd rather be with the guy on the right. Definitely looks more like my husband and I wouldn't feel so insecure and self-conscious with him.

Perfect for what? To marry? To look at? I definitely prefer the guy on the left's body to look at but the one on the right is totally fine, and is similar to my DH. I think my DH is hot and I love love love him but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate a nice physique on someone else. Personality is so much more important to me (as it clearly is to everyone else on here who is saying that they can assume the guy on the left is high maintenance so they wouldn't want him!) But just on looks alone I prefer the left.

I've known a few guys like on the left--gym rats who are obsessed with every morsel they put in their mouth. NO thanks!
My "type" has always been tall, lanky guys. I think my husband is a tiny bit skinnier and maybe has slightly better pecs and quite a bit less hair that the guy on the right....and I think he's super hot and just my type.
Overall, I feel like most women appreciate a naturally athletic looking male physique over the super-cut, very low body fat look that requires hours in a gym and a no carb lifestyle.

Hm. I don't think I would prefer someone body obsessed, with mine or theirs, so the left would never get my vote. That is just not attractive to me (being very appearance obsessed, I just don't think that is healthy). I think maybe I equate (the appearance of the left) to being less laid back (as well)? But if he naturally looks like that from his work or something then maybe...

The hairy chest might be part of what I don't like about the guy on the right. I do not like body hair and luckily my DH is like the least hairy guy ever. Not one chest hair.

I voted right. I think the guy on the left obviously has the better body but (fair or not) i sort of assume he's an asshole. Or at least spends way too much time on his body. I need someone who is going to sleep late with me on saturdays (erhm... if my LO ever allows that to happen again...) not have his alarm set for 6am for a a 5 mile run. F that.

@.twist.: @chopsuey: My husband likes to work out as well - he's not THAT ripped, but I think he looks sexy! He has tree trunk thighs and huge biceps from lifting. He's probably pretty in-between those two - but I think his face is a lot handsomer than the guy on the right. He's more of a brawny Gerard Butler type of guy - Scottish, dark, etc.
Actually - he gets told he looks like the Brawny paper towel guy HA!

Eh, probably either depending on personality. My DH looks more like a skinnier version of the dude on the right. Id do Mr Right if he was charming, funny, intelligent, etc. Id do Mr Left as long as he wasn't a douche or addicted to gym/tan/laundry like the morons on Jersey Shore. I mean seriously, dude has less leg hair than I do.

Pretty much agree with everything @travellingbee said, including the bit about hair! DH has very little body hair and it's a huge plus for me. Hair weirds me out.
I voted neither though. They're both a little skinny for my taste. I prefer very broad shoulders. DH could be emaciated and he wouldn't be as small as those guys!
