Who is excited for TWD on Sunday?! I am SO excited, it's one of my favorite shows! I told DH he has to take a break from working that night and watch it with me or else I'm watching it alone

I'm so excited, too! We are going to DH's aunt's house (45 mins away) for Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday, and I let everyone know that we would be leaving early so LO could go to bed. I'm thankful to have that excuse, because it means we will be back in plenty of time for the season premiere. It's definitely my favourite show right now, even more so than GoT, which DH thinks is crazy.

@Astro Bee: season premier in Nov? I thought it was back this Sunday.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I'm in Canada. Our Thanksgiving is on Monday, although many people have their Thanksgiving dinner on the Sunday, or even the Saturday.

SOOO excited. Definitely my favorite show on tv right now. I can't wait to see how they're going to incorporate Morgan into the group.
Fear the Walking Dead just did NOT do it for me. I'm not sure I'm gonna watch it again next season.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: yeah, I'm not sure I could wait until November. It's been tough waiting this long. Thankfully, we had Fear to keep us going.

@Astro Bee: yess! That final episode was everything!! I read an interview with the show runners and they said in Season 2 there are lots of boats in the water. Some of the survivors will try to take over Strand's yacht because of the amenities. I cannot wait to see inside the boat- I always wanted to live on a boat.

@Bao: I'm exhausted, so it's recording and DH and I will watch tomorrow!

So I'm really sad because since we cancelled our cable last year I dropped off on it. I turned it on apple tv to catch up before tonight and I honestly couldn't watch! I don't know what got into me, I have a hard time with gore now I guess.

We canceled cable but got a free trial of sling tv so we are watching right now

That was a good premiere! I watched it when it came back on at 1 am, since I couldn't stay up until 9 am. Naps are great.

the premiere was insane! I get so stressed watching it, ha. can we edit the title to allow for spoilers - or should we start a new thread? I KNEW ..that..was going to happen to ..that person.. in the premiere. kind of glad, actually. dumbnut.

I'm so mad/sad/confused now!!! Did you watch talking dead? I'm watching it now and am like whhhaaaaaat?!?!!

I shed tears. Lots of them. Too many to be normal. I haven't watched Talking Dead yet; we'll watch it tonight. I'm so heartbroken. Poor M-----.

Maybe I should start DVRing Talking Dead, but hope, didn't watch it.
apricot / 448 posts
@Bao: they are leaving it at there's a possibility that maaaayyyybe it didn't happen. Like that was the other guy. I think he slid under the dumpster.
Talking dead is the best, and always has such good info!! You all should go watch it!

I'm so aggravated!! We DVR it and in the middle of the night I was up nursing, and someone posted a huge meme about it. so I couldn't even just avoid clicking. oh well..at least now I'm prepared?? haha.
I also think they definitely did not kill him off. they love their cliffhangers and anxiety inducing plot twists..

I just watched it. I was so pissed because someone posted a meme on FB before I got to watch it. I'm also hoping he crawled away and hid under the dumpster. The guts were real, but were they his??!!

So, I know the show veers way off from the comics in many ways, but is there anything in the comic about Glenn dying?
bananas / 9227 posts
@littlebug: I haven't read the comic, but I've read that he does die in it. However, I can't believe they'd kill him off this way. I need closure! Lol!

@littlebug: I haven't read the comics, but I've heard that the comics do have him dying, but not in the way depicted last night. I hope he isn't dead yet!

after watching, I'm pretty convinced he will SOMEHOW get out of it. come ON. it's glenn!!!!!
pomegranate / 3863 posts
@sorrycharlie: I'm convinced that Nicholas was laying on top of Glenn and they did a mind trick to make us think Glenn was being eaten! They can't kill off Glenn that easily!!!
hostess / watermelon / 14932 posts
@petunia354: yep. his intestines were like - where his lungs should have been, you know? maybe I'm over thinking it but it didn't match up!! he fell on TOP of Glenn, so he would have been eaten first...

Oh man, I love Glenn. As much as I love Daryll. And I always told DH that I'd riot if they ever killed him off. That being said, I feel like it'd be kind of cheap for him to be alive after all that. I would be so mad at the writers for putting us through that!
