We got back from a trip a few days ago, and I wasn't able to find my bbt thermometer until today. So for the last few days I have been using a regular digital thermometer to take my bbt. This afternoon I took my temperature with both and there was a significant difference: 98.3 on regular, 98.6 on bbt. Now I am wondering if I should adjust my temps accordingly....?

I don't think digital vs basal thermometer is an issue at all because I think they're both trustworthy. I use the digital for 10 months and conceived twice, even with irregular long cycles / PCOS. However, it is an issue when you use 2 different thermometers during the same chart. I would choose one and stick with it, and mark of the other temps with a note.

I agree. Just note which days you used the other thermometer in case you're unsure about ovulation. If it's only been 3-4 days, I'd switch back to the old one.
Even between basal thermometers, you can get different results.

Thanks for your input, ladies! I verified ovulation while we were out of town, so it's mostly just "cosmetic" at this point. I am back to using my bbt thermometer, and I made a note on those days.
