anyone have this? I'm considering getting two for DD to replace most of her plastic cups. But there are some less than stellar reviews about the straw getting moldy, leaking and disintegrating (?!).

@sorrycharlie: Do they have a similar one at Target? Or maybe that one is plastic...I really can't remember now.

@Bao: I did see a similar one at target but wasn't sure if it was stainless steel or not (and LO was whining, climbing out of the cart so I didn't stop to look lol). I wasn't sure if the different models were *that* different enough that it would be worth knowing for sure. does that make sense? i'm so tired.

We have that exact one based off some recommendations by the hive! I can only see it getting moldy if people don't realize (or are too lazy) to take it apart for washing. The straw top is attached to a silicone piece that pops out. The inside straw separates as well.

We have the larger version of this and has lasted well over a year. It did just start randomly leaking.

We have it, it's amazing. It has started to leak recently but she has been using he same one for maybe 10 months now, and throws it on the floor constantly.

We love it. You just have to take the straw apart from the silicone part to wash and dry.

I love ours! You just need to make sure that the silicone base of the straw is properly positioned in the cup so that there is no space--that is the only time that ours has leaked.

We just started using this for about a month and so far we love it.

I've had a few of http://smile.amazon.com/Thermos-FOOGO-Stainless-Steel-Ounce/dp/B0025Y6742/ref=pd_sim_ba_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=0F9P33VK2YFQPPHVDQYB these for mysef for 2-3 years with no complaints.

We have two, I mainly use them for milk, when we need to keep it cool. You have to take it totally apart to clean it, which can be a giant pain, but if you are using it for only water, it shouldn't be too bad.

We have one that i only use for milk when we travel or are gone all day. I really like it! I would have more and use them daily, but the expense is a little high for us.
The first one we bought, something didnt line up correctly and it leaked. I took it back to babies r us and exchanged it for another and this one works great! Never a leak i think as long as you take all of the parts apart before washing and let it dry before putting it back together mold shouldnt be an issue. The parts are fairly easy to get clean in the dishwasher.

@sorrycharlie: I think that's the one Mrs Bee said she uses and loves for Charlie's lunches? Could be a different one, though. I have the Thermos Funtainer and it's the best cup ever. Nothing has gotten yucky inside, I clean it out after every use, though...

We have a Camelbak one and it's really great! but only for water, if you're interested

Love ours! We've had it for YEARS. It's my primary cup that we take around on the weekends because I'm starting to want to move away from plastics. Plus it keeps water so cold-- I put a few cubes of ice in and they're still there at the end of the day! And my kids always want "ice cold water"... haha. "Make sure it's ice cold, mommy."
I want to buy two for their daycare lunches! They're still taking plastic cups because I don't want to lose my only metal one
The plastic top part and inner straw are really easy to pop out, take apart and clean. Much easier than any other cup I've washed. I'm thinking of buying replacements soon though, since it's been years. But not once has it gotten moldy. We ONLY use it for water now though. We used it for milk when Wagon Jr. was about 1-2.

That's the one we have and love it! We have never had issues with it leaking or mold. I rinse it after each use and take it apart to was every night.

I love ours. We've been using one probably every other day since august and no issues so far.

This is the only cup we use now, it's great (and not plastic, bonus!). All the pieces come apart to wash, and the milk/water stays cold a long time.
