Help! There are so many out there... Which one do you have/like?

We have the Giro Scamp. Got it at 1 and it still fits at 2, but not much room to grow (he's got a big head). I also looked at Nutcase, which had good safety ratings.

We have the Specialized - Small Fry helmet in toddler size. We got it when he was 14 months and at 27 months he has tons of room to grow left. It is adjustable to fit head sizes 44 -52 cm. They come in bright colors and cute designs. He wants to wear it all of the time.

We have a Giro one, Raze, I think from looking pictures. Got it when she was about 2 and stillfits at almost 4. The local bike store carried it and the guy helped me fit it to her head.
It's good for bike riding but not ideal for a bike trailer since the back kind of pushed her head forward too much. We had to put a folded towel behind her back to make room.

Our two year old has the Joovy Noodle. Not much room left to grow in it.

@macintosh: haha! My son just outgrew our scamp (
) and we got a nutcase! I think I recommended the giro to you, I wish I just bought the next size. the nutcase is a tiny bit large and was so expensive

We have the Giro Scamp. DDs head has always been 90th percentile or larger, she's 27 months and it still fits great.

Giro me2 - I love it and it adjusts well.

B has a Nutcase (this supercute Robot one: https://nutcasehelmets.com/products/tin-robot-little-nutty?variant=18811480261) - he's 3 with a big head and it seems like he'll fit into it for a while. We gave W the Giro one that we got B when he was 1 - it still fit him, but it made more sense to do it this way than get another little one.

If you're in NYC, the DOT provides free helmets and fittings.

We have a bell one for the 1-2 age that I really like the look of and will probably get my older one a nutcase next. I got a nutcase for myself and think it's great!

I don't know, I picked ours up at the local bike store. It might be a bell one though.

Nutcase Baby Nutty I think it's called. Or maybe Little Nutty. We have the XS and it fits him perfectly (2.75). He is average size.
