When your younger started solids did your older child want to eat everything you were offering baby?
My toddler wants to eat everything I'm giving baby sister! It's frustrating sometimes because those baby snacks are expensive! Lol while she has all these awesome snacks available to her and she wants baby snacks. Kids!

My 13 year old nephew ate an entire container of puffs the last time he was over so, yeah, not just toddlers!

Yes and it's so annoying! Puffs are SO expensive (compared to Cheerios or whatever). Sometimes I tell him he has to take a spoon of the puree if he wants more, then he turns it down

I definitely went through a phase like that when I was a toddler. I BEGGED and BEGGED for some of my brother's antibiotic because it was that pink bubblegum flavored compounded stuff and my mom had to give me a teeny bit because I would not stop hounding her. I also always stole his banana baby food puree (and sneak a bite of DS' now!)

I buy those applesauce things that come in a pouch when I'm feeding DS#2 baby food - it tricks big brother into thinking he's getting the same thing since I use the baby food pouches.
We're almost at the puffs point and I am dreading this problem with them! Maybe save an empty container and fill it with some pirates booty or something else that would be a good size for it?

@Mrs. Tiger: exactly!! Shitz expensive. I've been making her food so sometimes when it's a purée and not exactly what she's eating I'll let her have the leftovers. LOL crazy kid.

@knittylady: oy! I haven't done pouches yet but did get a free sample the other day that I'm saving. Big sister has been telling me baby sister needs/wants the pouch. Really, she does! LOL
I'm sure the novelty will eventually wear off... Right?
