I need advice from experienced moms!
Background:
My husband and I travel extensively and want to continue once we have this baby. We sacrifice a lot in other areas in order to afford trips. It's not something we want to give up. I have been a FT nanny for twin babies (now toddlers) for the past few years, so although I'm a FTM, I feel I have a somewhat better grasp of the realities of life with a baby. Of course I understand it's not the same, though.

We want to travel to Costa Rica in January 2018. Baby will be 3.5months. We'd be staying in a condo at a resort. They will provide Pack n play. Walking distance to a grocery for diapers. I understand we'd be at the mercy of naps, feedings, etc. We are fine sacrificing that and just enjoying time as a family on the balcony enjoying the warm weather. We'd do the pool, beach, and short hikes when able.
I'd plan on getting trip insurance.

So...are we crazy? I'm less worried about safety persay, just if logistics would work. I'm hesitant to book because I'm a FTM and have no clue what to expect. Anyone have experience traveling with an infant?
